I am celiac and had a bad reaction , complained and got informed that there were cross contamination signs in the take away, have been numerous times and NEVER use anywhere where it states cross contamination!!! Was extremely ill but fobbed off from supposed management!!!!

Gluten free and vegan food available, how good is that? And it tastes great! So an early evening birthday meal with family booked in advance. Started with drinks and GF garlic bread - but it tasted like normal garlic bread. 3 different pizzas and a pasta dish to follow. Half the pasta had to go in a goody bag for later. But the GF pizza was one of the best I've tasted. I like pizza and have tried all sorts but this is my current favourite. Service was fast and efficient by friendly staff and management. Easy access through the main door. Not sure if wide enough for wheelchairs, I would need to check. There are 3 or 4 steps up to the main seating area, but there are at least 3/4 tables in the lower seating area. So if you can't manage the stairs you would be comfortable there. I forgot to check where the toilets are, sorry, so can't comment on them, but they must be on the higher seating area at least. So I will recommend this place, with the proviso that you check the access to the toilets first. Generally though food was great, staff were friendly and efficient, the temperature was comfortable so I've given it 5 stars. Great evening with family.

Plenty of choice for gluten free pizza and pasta, Best gluten free pizza I've ever had. We'll definitely be back to try more! Staff were so helpful with the menu, thank you for a great evening 😊

We’ve eaten at Bistro 42 several times now and can honestly say that we’ve always been really happy with the food and service. The meals, especially the Sunday roast, have always been delicious - the mash potatoes alone are amazing! The service by Abi and her colleagues is always prompt, friendly and professional. The choice of drinks is good and even includes gluten free lager which very few bars and restaurants supply. This is a small but significant addition for a gluten intolerant customer who loves a beer! Bistro 42 is also one of the few places that make Margarita’s - the manager Jamie makes one of the best classic Margaritas I’ve ever had. We love visiting this place and highly recommend it.

After a last minute cancellation at another restaurant myself and my mum decided to try Estabulo. As a coeliac with other allergies spontaneous eating out causes a lot of anxiety but Lacey was happy to go over every thing which I really appreciated. The food was lovely and the service was even better. Would definitely recommend and thank you to Lacey for a lovely experience xx

What a find. This place was amazing. Exactly what I was looking for. Essentially a standard Chinese takeaway with normal prices but completely vegan. So much choice. Such good prices. Knowledgeable staff about intolerances. Cater really well for gluten free (although you have to ask). Food a little greasy but again this is authentic.

5 stars all the way. Perfect for pre-theatre meal. Some of the surrounding car parks are free after 6pm, we were kindly advised before entering by the owner, thank you. Excellent food, great atmosphere and extremely helpful staff. Gluten free option available and was the best tasting pizza I've had in a long time!! Most definitely recommend and we'll see you again soon 👍
