This place is amazing. The chicken tacos were very tasty. I was attending GrowthDay Live at the Alex Theater and this is conveniently located nearby. It's also close to the Brand Plaza Hotel. The service was excellent. Very friendly and even remembered my order when I went in a 2nd time (I mentioned the tacos were tasty, didn't I?). I have to eat gluten free. There are several gluten free options (including the chicken tacos). The price was also extremely reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by and eating some tacos (or anything else on the menu).
Experience authentic Italian flavors with exceptional service and warm hospitality that makes every visit memorable.

We recently dined here, and it was a wonderful evening. We ordered a gluten-free pizza, a vegetarian pizza, and finished with a delicious tiramisu. Each dish had that authentic Italian flavor—perfectly prepared! What made it even more special was the owner—super friendly and warm. We felt incredibly welcome, and the entire team went above and beyond to make it a great evening. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Italian food and appreciates excellent service.

We had a good, but not perfect, experience at Basin 141 in our first time visiting this cute part of Montrose. We were seated right away on a Saturday night a little after 6 though had to sit at high tops as all of the more comfortable booth seating was occupied.
The cocktail menu is impressive with its many creative options. I had the Weissen Sour which was a really well-mixed refreshing cocktail that was not on the dryer side (ie not sweet.) There are tons of delicious and unique cocktails to try on their menu and I definitely want to come back and try more.
We're vegetarians and were excited to see many options available on their dinner menu including 3 different vegetarian tacos. (Truffle Mushroom, Sofrito Taco, and Potato [the Sofrito is also vegan]). My wife and I actually both ordered the taco plate with the same 2 tacos - one Sofrito and one Potato. It was cool that you could mix and match your tacos so you could try more than one on the plate...as well as add more than just the 2 that came with the plate.
Both of these tacos were delicious...the Sofrito came in a handmade tortilla...it actually fell apart (the tortilla) as soon as I picked it up so I had to eat that one with a fork. It was good and had a nice spice to it....the potato taco was crispy shelled...it was yummy and among the more flavorful potato tacos I've had.
The tortilla chips it came with were house-made, so yay for that, but they were definitely over-fried...browner than they should have been on both our plates so not as fun to eat.
Also for vegetarians are a Pub Pretzel, Charred Cauliflower, Truffle Mac and Cheese, an artisan cheese plate, a bunch of sides and salads as well. So If you're vegetarian, or vegan, or gluten-free, you will not go hungry here.
We liked it here and would definitely come back for more drinks and to try the other things to eat. Would have been 5 stars if the chips weren't overcooked and my taco had not fallen apart upon first touching it. Something to strive for, Basin 141!
A first-time visit here promises an awesome vibe with top-notch service and delicious treats that will leave you craving more.

First timers! Absolutely LOVED the customer service. Great staff, super friendly, approachable and even hooked it up with a sampler of their cookies and cream custard which was bomb. The food was great as well. We ordered the chicken sandwiches. One on a gluten free bun (not grainy/dry like at other places) and one in a regular bun. 20/10. It's been a while since we had great food and customer service like that.
A beloved local spot with stellar service and plenty of options has quickly made a name for itself among residents.

We recently moved to Glendale and Amici quickly became our favourite restaurant! It’s the best experience I’ve had dining and Omar our waiter made the experience so memorable, we’ve never had such personable service, he’s one of a kind. We love the food and having celiac disease I was surprised at how many gluten free options there were available for me. I’d highly recommend the restaurant to anyone in the LA area. 10/10
Indulge in an unforgettable experience with incredible entrees and a cozy vibe that will keep you coming back for more.

Bread was so good, I'd eat it with a gluten allergy. Which I don't have. I'm allergic to Benadryl. It's ironic but that's life. Tried the brisket sandwich... Even though I couldn't finish the whole thing there, it was still great as a left over. The sides were good too. A little disappointed on the salad but it's not a surprise. Twice baked potato was done well. The other details were definitely worth it. Glad I got introduced to somewhere I will enjoy to return.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with outdoor seating, a vast menu, and massive cheesecake slices, though expect a wait during peak times.

Great options! I had a mushroom burger with gluten free bun and a side soup instead of fries. It was really good. Staffs are very friendly too. The only drawback is the long wait. However, the center shops nearby are nice to pass some time.
Innovative and sensational, this spot impresses with a creative menu and unique, flavorful dishes that thrill adventurous eaters.

My husband and I were strolling by and walked in to see if they had gluten free or celiac friendly options. About half of the sushi menu was safe! The place was pretty full, but the waitress still took her time to go over the menu and narrow down the allergens for me by marking it, a beautiful gesture. Sushi chefs innovative with their GLUTEN FREE options is rare for me. They thought of everything including gluten free TEMPURA and their tamari PONZU!!!!!
The dishes were some of the best I have encountered, and we have ventured around the world, including Japan. Omakase isn't a menu option, but the waitress asked a few questions like how adventurous and hungry we were, then took over ordering for us.
Food summarized in one word: SENSATIONAL. Tasted like the seafood was straight out of the sea! It's hard to pick favorites, but the red snapper specialty, halibut specialty, and ceviche will slap your taste buds in a way you never knew was possible. Demon Slayer Sake was the right amount of dry and the bottle made us laugh. Great time.
I encourage UMI to promote the gluten free aspect on their menu, or at least on their website… it's LA, people would love to know!
Great selection of quality food and drinks in a clean spot with plenty of TVs for sports, though service can be a bit slow at times.

The food and drink selection is really great for a counter serve restaurant. The quality is good and consistent, and the prices are pretty good, although a little on the high side for lunch. There are plenty of options for gluten-free people, although the restaurant is not gluten-free. I’m leaving off a star because the service is really inconsistent; although very polite, it’s frequently slow, and wait times for food can exceed 10mins. The seating is always clean, and there are usually good sports to watch on the many TV’s.
We tried this place out for the first time tonight, WE ALL LOVED IT! We intended to try the cracker crust but forgot to mention it, we got sent home with a lovely sample . It was fanatic, will definitely be going back. The wings are baked too and yummy! Ohhh and they have gluten free options too!
I keep saying I'm going to try other things on the menu, but their street tacos are delicious. I generally order the al pastor and the carne asada on corn tortillas.
If you are gluten free, like me, the options are a little limited, mostly the street tacos (order on corn) and the rice bowls. For the non-gluten free: I'm told the fish tacos are delicious as are the beer battered carne asada fries. Plus the fries are easily an entire meal.
But no fries for the celiac, the oil is used to fry things gluten-full..
Good burgers, although VERY thin. Great fries!
If your gluten free this is a good option for you, try a burger in a lettuce wrap add some fries and enjoy!
Experience a warm, homey vibe with personable service and a wall of celebrity photos that adds a unique touch to your visit!

Fresh off a day's flight to start our vacation and looking for some food. We stopped in to see if there was gluten free option but stayed to order a small pizza for our son. What a wonderful experience we had. Kind and personable attention we got from the owner and family members working. Pictures of famous people on the walls. Fast and generous service (thank you for the additional pizza custom for my husband and I! 💜). There was a pizza and burger place across the road, and we could have gone there, but this felt comfortable like home because of the people. It really made all of our day and the pizza was great! Our son kept saying how nice they were and how great the pizza was. It really perked him up. We plan to go back again before we leave for the Disneyland part of our visit. Check this place out and enjoy the people, service and the food! (PS Thank you for taking our photo in front of the wall of pictures. It was fun to look at them while waiting) - visitors from Victoria, BC, Canada
