My family and I recently celebrated my June birthday at Mellow Mushroom in Wake Forest. The entire staff was friendly, every person we passed spoke to us, and our server Lilly was an absolute delight. We had wings, cheese pizza, a calzone, and a gluten free Kosmic Karma that were all of exceptional quality. Lilly even surprised me with a (free!) birthday pretzel in the shape of a flower because I mentioned how my father and I love lillies and flowers after she introduced herself. That was incredibly thoughtful and it honestly made my day. My dad wasn't half way through lunch and was making plans to return for his own birthday.. in April.. but I'm willing to bet we make it back to see you guys before then! Our server Rosemary was friendly and attentive to my allergies. I was excited to learn their chips are fried in a dedicated fryer that's gluten free. I had the Pastor tacos which were gluten free and dairy free, they were great!
