Drove a little out of our way from I-81 to check out this place and we were well rewarded for our time.
The brisket was very good (excellent texture, good flavor), the pulled pork was excellent, and the variety of BBQ sauces was also superb. Lots of options for kids. The catfish bites were very good and portions were solid.
I'm gluten free and the menu had plenty of good options for me. Plus the staff was very knowledgeable about my options.
Also seems like a great place to watch a game.
Had a very nice lunch. Large selection on the menu, sandwiches, burgers, salads, quiche, wraps, appetizers. All sounded delicious. I opted for the caprese appetizer and a cup of their tomato basil soup, my hubby ordered the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The sweet potato fries, served with honey for dipping, were great.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I am gluten-free and inquired about the best options and the server stated that they could make accommodations for most of the things on the menu to suit me, however I chose items that were naturally gluten-free.
Pricing was what I would expect from a locally owned restaurant that prepares its food in house, ranging from about $8 to $15 for most items. The decor was modern industrial and I liked how the sidewall still had the original hardware store advertising painted on the brickwork.
Very pleased that the owner of a nearby antique shop recommended this restaurant to us.
Open, clean and comfortable dining area. Friendly staff. They offer several good bowls and nice sized salads that make it easy to eat gluten free (not accounting for cross-contamination if you're super sensitive.)
