Food took a minute to get to our table. I ordered a Rigatoni Bolognese, while my partner got a gluten free SMH baked potato pie. Bread was stale; no butter on it and it was very hard, could pop off a tooth with it. The pasta came lukewarm, and bland. Despite its color, you couldn't taste the sauce at all. SMH pie was also met with mediocre results. We got seated right away and service was friendly.

Had a good experience at Ba Bar as someone with Celiac, but wanted to leave a review for future gluten free folks. The items labeled gluten free aren't actually gluten free, as both the fryer and the pasta water are shared. Our waitress was amazing and went out of her way to confirm that the kitchen was able to put a new pot of water on to cook my vermecili noodles. I really appreciated their willingness to accommodate, but please don't label items gluten free if they aren't, as someone might not know to ask about shared pasta water, for example.

Great food with great gluten free options and great service. Zoe was helpful and we bonded over a shared hometown, she definitely made my day. Nice music too!

Superb date night! What great service! The server was so kind and was able to make all the adjustments (vegan & gluten free and then dairy free) for allergies and intolerances without hesitation. The decor and interior was elegant and had great artwork and made for a wonderful experience. They also have a nice outdoor dining area. The food was flavorful and also very clean and we felt healthy and balanced rather than stuffed and slow. Lamb kabob was tender but had good char on the outside. Hummus creamy, tabouli was refreshing, dolmas warm and savory. Portions were good sized and had value but no comprise for taste. We want to get back and see the love belly dancing and music and maybe even taste some hookah.
