Great food in a chill pub, but the staff are what makes the place: my wife is coeliac and the pub is outstanding in the delivery of food that is a gift: no gluten delicious and professional. The staff, kitchen brigade, chef and publican have made our day. Get out there and support a venue like this ❤️👏
A buzzing spot with ever-changing menu delights, known for divine pizzas and must-try pistachio tiramisu—definitely a must-visit!

Best vegan and gluten free pizza I've eaten. Love that they change the menu monthly so you never get bored and always don't know what to expect when you visit. This place is busy so always book ahead even mid week and winter.
This spot offers tasty burgers with unique flavor balances, and the kitchen's open design adds a fun vibe, though wait times can be long.

Wouldn’t eat here again. The chips are cooked in contaminated fryer and gluten free bun was buttered, so i guess was contaminated and not grilled so dry and gross. Wouldn’t recommend
This vibrant spot impresses with its unique Asian fusion dishes, ample seating, and a lively atmosphere perfect for group hangouts.

Located in Marrickville, The D's Bar & Dining goes above and beyond, offering a menu that caters to different diets without sacrificing flavor.
Their dishes cover everything from gluten-free to vegan options, crafted with top-notch ingredients to ensure both taste and quality. The staff is attentive and ready to assist with dietary needs, making sure every guest has a smooth dining experience.
If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. Their breakfast salad is the ultimate breakfast if you want the best mix of flavours..it's full of the highest quality greens, almond flakes, black sesame seeds, an egg and beautiful lemon labneh...the flavour mix is truly masterful...comes with sour dough toast (or ask for their gluten free toast).. and don't know what magic they are using but they get kale to taste damn good..I crave this breakfast now...
With a stunning industrial vibe, this spot shines with great dishes but struggles with service, leaving diners feeling a bit awkward.

We went for breakfast on a Sunday. The cafe was busy but not packed. We ordered the avocado toast with a side of mushrooms, and another member of our party ordered the Bibimbowl. The avocado was lovely but the “toast” was not toasted and 2.5 mushrooms (which tasted beautiful in a rich umami marinade) for $7.00 is a bit rich. The Bibimbowl came out with a long hair (the dish was replaced and the owner apologised). The karage chicken was wonderful - fresh, tasty and gluten free. But where this cafe falls down is service. On multiple occasions staff were abrupt and outright rude despite us all smiling and being appreciative of their difficult jobs. It creates an awkward experience for diners because the space is stunning - bare concrete skeleton structure with plush white and copper kitchen in the middle). Anyway, I hope it survives because with some customer service training this place could really do well.
Step into a lively 1980s vibe with a nostalgic twist on Australian Chinese cuisine, complete with quirky decor and energetic ambiance.

I love this place! I dined here with work colleagues today for our Christmas lunch. We loved the prawn toast and the Mongolian lamb the best and we had the crazy Hong Kong French Toast for desert. A big shout out to our amazing waitress Heidi who coped with all our mushroom allergy, gluten free, non seafood, don’t like honey oddities! Yes we love that matrix Heidi! Old Skool Chinese is the best! The Bob Hawke memorabilia is really interesting. It’s a great place! Only downside is the parking - just come in an Uber or get public transport.
Authentic Vietnamese spot with generous servings that draw in a crowd; come during off-peak hours for quicker seating.

Most authentic Vietnamese food, delicious, generous servings, well priced, made with care and love for food, food service. Also naturally gluten free (coeliac safe for banh cuons). One of my new favourite places.
Experience a uniquely curated dining adventure with thoughtful substitutions and a cozy atmosphere that makes every guest feel special.

Absolutely amazing! I went with my partner and we had the best time! Delicious food and incredible experience. I have coeliac disease and require gluten free meals so they made special substitutes 'where required' with their own unique flair (rather than just removing the gluten items) and each dish was just as amazing as my partner’s. The service was next level and in an intimate atmosphere it felt like everyone was equally important and paid so much attention to the meals and making sure we all had a five star experience. I would highly recommend Messina Creative to everyone. If you’re coeliac or don’t drink alcohol, you won’t feel alienated like sometimes happens at other degustations. You’ll have an amazing, delicious, and unique dinning experience to remember. Praise to the passionate chef and all of the staff, just WOW.

Gorgeous large cafe/restaurant staffed with lovely, passionate and efficient employees, in the heart of Marrickville.
FOOD: Wide variety of cafe-typical food alongside some unique great Middle Eastern/European offerings. They cater to vegetarians/vegans and impressively so, to coeliacs, with a number of savoury and sweet gluten free options.
STAFF: I left, wanting them! They have that down-to-earth, proactive, passionate, friendly vibe! Whoever hires... Well done!10/10
AMBIENCE: Gorgeously refurbished post office... Think high ceilings, ornate details etc with a modern fresh stylish vibe. Bench seats and chairs and table seating... Easily fit groups of 10+
LOCATION/ACCESSIBILITY: Wheelchair and pram friendly, both in and outdoors. Located in the heart of Marrickville along the main street. Outdoor seating captures gorgeous sunlight and allows for dogs and kids to play with a open space next door.
OVERALL: Highly recommend, will travel to eat there again! The staff alone are worth dining there.

Put us on the biggest table there for 3 people and then when a big crowd of people came, the staff made us feel bad for being on the biggest table and rushed us out after we finished our food, poorly organized. Food was ok. If you're gluten free, maybe look somewhere else.
The staff are so friendly, pay attention to detail and cater for any dietary needs. Vegan, gluten and dairy free options. There raw vegan treats are to die for!!! You definitely get what you pay for, the serving size is extremely decent you won't be leaving hungry!
A friend and I had brunch at this cafe tucked just on the corner of the new Marrickville Library complex. It was a Saturday morning, and I can safely say I have never seen such a bustling library! And I think Double Roasters has a part to play in its popularity: Fresh and tasty bites to eat, with vegan and gluten free options available. The outdoor seating is socially distanced and family-friendly. I had the vegan sourdough sandwich and a chai latte. Delish!
A must-visit for sandwich lovers, especially with standout options and weekend hours making it even more enticing!

I think this might be the best gluten free sandwich I’ve had in Sydney. The Reuben is genuinely a 5/5 hit. Still not over how good the GF bread was. We are so pumped this place is open weekends now, we will be back!!!

Great place in a very well designed space. Architecture and aesthetic of the place was very well done! Coffee taste was good and service was excellent. Only downfall, it is a very small menu with limited options. Gluten free bread available for most dishes and vegan options available. Overall, lovely place.
Unique cookies draw in visitors, and the accommodating vibe makes it a must-visit spot for a laid-back lunch.
