The coffee was good and I ordered the scrabbled eggs on sourdough with mushrooms which was nice.
The cafe is dog friendly and there are dog bowls provided. There is inside and outside seating and you order your meal at the counter. Footpaths around the cafe are accessible by wheelchair and staff are really friendly. Along with breakfast you can also dine in for lunches or get takeaway. They also provide gluten free options. Nice park across the road and lovely old buildings around. Interesting place. Thank you
Charming historic sandstone setting with perfect gluten-free base and generous fresh toppings.

Today was our second visit in two months, first visit my rissotto was disgusting, it had all sorts thrown in and not even all the ingredients described in the menu.
Got our money back but still hungry.
And today was not good either, my husband’s risotto came out with prawns instead of chicken, they changed the meat to chicken but the taste suggested that it was still the original risotto base ( he doesn’t like prawn taste in risotto ), the rice was not cooked therefore hard in the middle.
My ceaser salad was advertised gluten free and with Parmesan cheese, I don’t think I got either as there was no visible Parmesan cheese and the extremely hard and impossible to bite into at times croutons seemed to be wheat bread.
I asked the girl if it was gluten free and she said she didn’t know and I asked did it have Parmesan in it and she just said I’ll tell the chef instead of actually answering me.
I told her my husband’s rice wasn’t cooked and we got the same blase reply, she took our money and threw me a look as I left.
We used to go to Capellas a lot but not any more😡
