You may get a bit hungry walking the hills of Glenariff, yet there is a welcome at the waterfalls. (sssh, also accesible via its own car park). The lodge was in full halloween season, decorated in scary mannekins throughout. The service was prompt, drinks served quickly. We had sea bass served with champ, crispy seaweed, peas and green beans and a chicken fillet meal. Brandy and coke, Guinness, two coffees and 1 gluten free dessert-choc fudge cake with ice cream.
Around £60.00 for two people.
Would definately return.

My husband and I went for a late lunch on Saturday. We ordered the ‘House Burger’ and the ‘Vegan Burger’. Unfortunately both were dry, overcooked and tasteless. The vegan burger was especially disappointing. It was so dry it was hard to chew and only came with rocket and onion. No pickles, tomato or cheese to add flavour. The only dip was a small dish of relish and the gluten free bun (which was unnecessary as I am not coeliac) was again dry and inedible. Very disappointing and unfortunately I would not recommend.
Enjoy a cozy vibe with a menu that surprises and engages, plus some dishes that look even better online than in person.

Great food and service. Plenty of gluten free options. Although the one in the restaurant is slightly smaller than the one on the restaurants website. I enjoyed the salted chilli chicken starter and ceasar salad and truffle chips.
Enjoy home-baked treats and a scenic spot to relax outdoors while watching grazing cows – the ice cream is a must-try!

Very friendly service. Absolutely fantastic food.
The baked goods are the best and home baked. I haven't seen a better range of gluten free cakes including the raspberry frangipans. It's lovely to sit outside and watch the cows from the farm go about their grazing. The ice cream...wow!
A must-try for seafood lovers, the standout chowder is a bowl of deliciousness that keeps everyone coming back for more!

I am celiac so I much appreciated the gluten free options. I had the seafood chowder and WOW!!!!! I wanted to lick the bowl. The gluten free bun that came with it was soft and delicious. Absolutely superb.

We went for a family dinner and had a really lovely meal. The tomato salad starter was really delicious as was the chicken supreme main all very fresh and so full of flavour and freshness. Dessert was baked alaska and was so good! Lovely staff and quick service despite the restaurant being busy. My daughter is vegetarian and there was a full menu for her to choose from I am gluten free and again a full menu of choices when normally in other restaurants there is only one or two options max!
A clean and stylish spot with a welcoming vibe, perfect for a cozy coffee break that keeps you coming back for more.

Lunch @ The Carrie in Kells.
Beautiful gluten free food. Looks amazing and tastes amazing.
Friendly and helpful staff. No rushing the order when sorting out what was gluten free to eat. To start, goats cheese with beetroot, then honey chilli chicken with rice, and to finish hot chocolate cake.
