Thank you so much for the lovely meal we had on my birthday. The service was great the host brought a lovely cake. My wife it gluten and dairy intolerant and we had the best meal. Thank you so much for a lovely experience.
As I'm ceoliac my partner took me to miller and carter as its certified gluten free. It was only once we'd finished our starters were we told they didn't have a designated fryer so did I want the fries!? I'd have preferred to be told this when I ordered as I may not have stayed,boiled potatoes are no substitute for chips! I also shouldn't have been given the option, ceoliac means no gluten, the server should have said we're sorry you can't have them, it felt like my illness was being trivialised, it's not a fad i cant pick and choose!!
The lunch set menu isn't great for ceoliacs either and no horseradish sauce,very poor service for somewhere that's supposed to be clued up.
Lovely place to go for a drink. Friendly staff. They do have vegan cheese for pizza and gluten free bases however some other restaurants do far better gluten free pizzas and for a cheaper price.
As a coeliac I can’t tell you how happy I am how I can finally trust a cafe! 100 perfect gluten free options and so caring and kind answering questions. It is such a treat to see loads of gluten free cakes separated ! Please can you both have a cafe in dickens heath!
Well done Bing for being an excellent hostess and looking after our family last night (26.10.24). We were a table of 9 who had a really good birthday celebration. Chefs Devon and Avin & staff produced lovely meals. Without you guys, there would be no dining experience. We had one person who had a gluten free meal & it was lovely. Thank you all for a lovely evening, we will be coming back ❤️
