We booked a table for 13 on Sunday 16th October for Sunday lunch, we hadn't been here before and had travelled from north Wales to meet up with family who had come over from Australia, who were looking forward to a Sunday lunch over here, the food was great and everyone enjoyed the meal, the service was superb and the young waitress who took our orders was great, nothing was too much trouble.I have a gluten intolerance so I went for the salmon which is gluten free but I also have other intolerancies so with the young lady going back and forth to speak to the chef, they come up with the perfect meal for me. It can be hard going out for something to eat sometimes when you have dietary requirements but not on Sunday. Thankyou

We enjoyed a very tasty and fairly priced Sunday Lunch in the lounge at the Wickstead Arms today. The welcome and service throughout were fantastic. A cosy and traditional pub decor, with regulars at the bar but just as much welcome for someone new (and with a baby in tow). We hadn’t booked, but luckily there was a table. Gluten free Sunday Roast option. Clean and tidy including the toilets (no official baby change due to limited space, but a mat was available and the floor was clean).

Staff very friendly and helpful. I have Celiac's disease, so need a gluten free menu. The manager was very knowledgeable about my condition. They had a good choice of food options for me. The chef made sure there was no cross contamination when preparing my meal. Food was amazing, absolutely delicious 😋 highly recommend will definitely be back very soon.
