My wife is Gluten intolerant, this is the first time we have gone anywhere that she could eat absolutely anything on the menu.
The food was excellent and the selection of pies is quite something. Loads of meat in the pies too!
There is also a good choice of starters & deserts.
The staff were friendly as was the chef (who delivered our mains because the bar staff were run off their feet)
I would thoroughly recommend a visit, we will definitely be going back
my gluten free dinner is microwaved I was told this by the manager and thewaitress... my fiancé's spag ball was reheated was goin to have desert but was turned off it because of the microwave dinner
Incredible tradition fish and chips. Option for gluten free (in a separate fryer for a fair fee on any day of the week). So refreshing to have a local chippy who knows how to prepare it safely, but especially amazing to have it each day and being so delicious
Birthday celebration meal with 23 people. Arranged food order in advance. Meal served promptly and all food delicious. Everyone really enjoyed the meal. Staff very pleasant and efficient. 2 of the party gluten free and able to order from gluten free menu.
Amazing food served by friendly and amazingly humerus staff, with an amazing pie although portions were huge. Not really great for gluten-free options. The atmosphere is nothing special your typical pub.
Really lovely British country pub! I came for my birthday and the food was absolutely delicious. Really high quality food and for an extremely decent price, with tapas only £4 a dish! I had a pizza from their pizzeria range and it was stunning- super cheesy!! Loads of gluten free options and they cater to this extremely well. They also have a lovely bar garden too, very specious and would be lovely in the summer. Will definitely be back and would high recommend.
Food was as you would expect from a family style restaurant. The ribs were cooked to perfection and fell cleanly off the bone. The salad bar was fresh and regularly restocked. Service was good. One of the better harvester restaurants. Unfortunately head office have changed the app for allergies lumping all items together eg tomato soup contains gluten - it doesn't but the bread roll it comes with does. Staff were very helpful and checked ingredients for me. Disabled toilet by bar - radar and key behind bar. Good access just remember to put car registration in tablet by entrance for free parking
Lovely pub and service, gluten free options but could provide better options for gluten free. I ordered the gluten free chicken roast was really nice. However normally comes with Stuffing and Yorkshire, they don't provide gf Yorkshire which is fine but menu stated gluten free alternative for Stuffing and i never received any.
Lovely breakfast with my family here today, food was of really high quality and they catered for me being Gluten Free no problem! Even the lovely cake selection had Gluten Free options which I normally can’t join in with when eating out with the family, so it was definitely refreshing and appreciated! Everything was really tasty! Super clean and friendly what more can you ask for, thank you :)
Great pub with excellent food including options for vegan and gluten free diets, great choice of drinks and friendly staff. Plenty of atmosphere to enjoy a day or night out!
I made a booking for 10 yesterday and even though we had to wait a little for our table to be ready we were seated by Pablo who was looking after us for the evening. Pablo was absolutely fantastic! Friendly, helpful with everything we needed and knowledgeable about the gluten free options (2 of our party have coeliacs disease)
We couldn’t have asked for a better server for our evening! Absolutely brilliant, thank you again Pablo!
