Food was good. cashier seemed to know about gluten allergy, etc. Only bummer was the small parking lot, and not enough room for a truck, and trailer to turn around.
They lied straight into my face.
I hope this happens to noone ever again. Be super careful if you have allergies.
Unfortunately, they don’t know what they are doing. The service was nice but the guy in the kitchen was really bad. I orderd gluten-free and asked multiple times if it REALLY is GLUTEN FREE. They said yes and after some discussion and me eating half of the food (I’m celiac and this can get me into the hospital) the waiter told me that the kitchen ran out of gluten-free bread and just used normal one. WHAT?! Whithout saying a single thing to me. This is so not funny. Imagine being allergic to peanuts.
I hope noone needs to suffer after eating their food as much as I will in the next hours. They didn’t even give me my money back or apologize in any way.
This place understands gluten free. If you ask they will charge gloves and that person will prepare your bowl. For Celiac I recommend but you have to tell them.
Gluten Free bread. They have gluten free bread for their sandwiches. Also, they charge only $6.50 (breakfast sandwich price) for the option vs the normal sandwich puce of $8.50 since it's a smaller bread. My wife got the turkey sandwich on gf bread and I got the chicken Cesar salad. Both were great and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.
Baja Fresh is known for its freshly prepared meals. They offer a few vegan friendly options as well as gluten free. You can get the bowls without a tortilla shell and mix your whole beans with rice, veggies and salsa.
The salsa bar always offers something for most people that enjoy spicy or fresh toppings added to their meal. My favorite is the tostada salad with whole beans, rice, veggies which includes the fried shell along with lettuce, avocado and pico de Gallo.
