Scott, the manager was very kind and thoughtful regarding our conversation about their gluten free menu and Spencer, our waiter was very helpful re the rewards card and the service was great.
Great view! Miguel did a great job serving our table, he brought me a gluten free menu when I asked! Suggestion: No gluten free dessert on menu, it would be nice to add one. đ
Outstanding coffee and vibe!!
This place is amazing- not only is the coffee spot on, the lattes are made with perfection and using the best ingredients. They even have delicious house made gluten-free foods. Love , love, love!
Finally stopped in and tried Icy King!! Great service, great food, and great ice cream. We had
Smoothies: the #1 (Strawberry Banana), the #7 (spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana) & the #10 (strawberries, pineapple, mangos, orange juice) smoothies. Every single one was delicious. My son didnât want to try my smoothie with spinach and kale but ended up saying âwow that is really good.â
Food: #22 wrap (chicken, rice, black beans, cheddar, roasted pineapple, lettuce, jerk sauce) and 2 chicken quesadillas. Great portion sizes. Love the pineapple and jerk sauce in the wrap and the pepper Jack cheese in the quesadillas. Very tasty!!
Ice cream:
the Bourbon ice cream is amazing!!
Vegan & Gluten free: Also love that they have multiple gluten and dairy free hard ice creams. My daughter got a vegan and gluten free cookie ice cream and LOVED it!!
If you have never been there, the owners love to snap your photo and put your pic on the wall. Great place to go!!
Leesburg has a few standard American diner options for breakfast and we ended up at Bloomâs as it promised in-house baked goods. We werenât disappointed! Itâs a cute place and everything we had was great!
The coffee was super good. Coffee at places like this is either hit or miss and Bloomâs did it right. Strong and full of flavor.
The baked goods on display (all made in house) are undoubtedly the source of many dessert based fantasies. One of us ordered the cinnamon bun and it was so impressively large that we almost had to have our table enlarged to accommodate it. (okay, not reallyâŚbut it was big!)
I had a âBuild Your Ownâ omelet. (misleading as THEY actually build itâŚbut you get to decide what goes in it. I had onions and cheddar cheese, made with egg whites. It was prepared perfectly (not always a given with egg whites. It came with house made jam (delicious), a couple of truly legitimate southern biscuits as my bread option (delicious with the jame and butter) and potatoes. These potatoes were thick round discs of potatoâŚPERFECTLY cooked, crispy on outside and tender on the inside. One of the best breakfast potatoes Iâve had.
Our kid had a plain waffle (not too exciting from our adult point of view but he liked it and it looked perfect.)
And my wife had oatmeal as her gluten free breakfast choice along with a side of vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli and carrots.)
The prices were also very reasonable. Much less expensive than similar standard diners (or the chains). We were super-happy with our choice to come to Bloomâs for breakfast. Everything from the food to the price was spot on. You canât go wrong here for standard breakfast and baked goods.
I have celiac disease and must eat strictly gluten free. The staff was very accommodating to me. The server had some from the back come and talk to me at my table. They checked to make sure the ingredients being used were gluten free. I felt very comfortable and safe eating here. And....the food was awesome!! We will definitely make this place a regular spot from now on!!
Came here on a date night with the hubby and we had a great time! We ordered a couple of sushi rolls and the dinner special and everything tasted great. They were very accommodating for my husbands gluten sensitivity and were able to cook his order without any soy sauce. Specials thanks to our server, Lashandra, who was amazing and so attentive!! Will definitely be coming again!
