On suggestion from Omaha food lovers group on Facebook we tried Big Momma's today. I went online and ordered so it would be ready by the time we made the drive up to Omaha. It had just come out of the oven when we arrived. I had ordered the four piece gluten free oven fried chicken and a four piece regular oven fried chicken. Fried Chicken is one of the things that I miss so badly since I had covid 3 years ago and all my allergies have changed again and now I am allergic to wheat. This is the first time I've had fried chicken in 3 years. Totally different than what I'm used to but it's very good I would definitely suggest trying it if you're gluten free. I was told the non gluten-free was really good as well.

There's always room to chat with a friend here! I love that they have gluten free muffins available every single time I visit. This shop is also safer for my friend with a peanut allergy than your average scooters or similar.
We recently ordered through DoorDash, DoorDash did their best to correct the issue but can only help so much. We ordered gluten free pasta for my wife who needs to eat gluten free food or else she will be sick. The first time we ordered, it arrived without her food. Door dash refunded her portion of the order, so we needed to then create another order, once again paying for tip and delivery. On the second order we did NOT receive gluten free pasta. Thankfully, she does not have celiacs, but if she did, this could have been very bad.
We definitely do not recommend ordering from them if you have dietary restrictions as they will not be honored.

Big Mama's kitchen is an Omaha staple. Amazing food and service. The fried chicken is oven fried and even comes in gluten free! It is now located on the second floor in the dining hall above Hardy Coffee. If you park in the parking lot in front of the Highland Center then you will walk straight up the stairs behind Hardy Coffee. I highly recommend you try it out!

Stumbled upon Hardee's Coffee Company looking Big Mama's restaurant and Catering. They have gluten-free treats I got the cranberry orange muffin which is really super good and a cookie for my husband the coffee smells fantastic and they were dozens of people in there it's just too late in the day for me to have caffeine I definitely will be back to try all the coffee
Gluten free options! This was a neat place to visit in Benson. They have a nice patio to sit at as well as a bar in addition to the indoor seating. They have fun cocktails and the food was great. They have menus for people on a gluten free diet as well as people with Celiac's, my wife and kids in this case. The staff is very knowledgeable about the GF options and tell you what is changed or omitted on menu items to make them GF. I had the GF seared ahi tacos and my wife had GF chicken enchiladas. Both prepared perfectly and they were delicious. I don't have a bad thing to say about this place. It's not huge so seating can fill up quickly but it's worth the stop in.
