Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich, which was delicious! They have gluten free bread and were friendly and accommodating. Outdoor seating area is lovely and they have a speaker so you can wait for your order outside as well. Will definitely be back 🙂

Amazing brunch place, very cute, and great GF and nut free options. The gluten free pancakes are the best we’ve ever had. The fruit was super fresh and the whipped cream was freshly whipped.

Wow! I have to say I'm shocked. I do love their gluten free chicken and their soups, but I had a horrible experience today. The sweet potatoes I ordered for my daughter were EXTREMELY hot with red pepper flakes. My potato leek soup was delicious, and the GF fried chicken was on point. However, the sesame kale salad tasted very old and soggy. I understand rubbed kale and love marinated kale salads like from Stone Soup and Mother Earth, however this was inedible today. If itnwas just one thing I would not have called, but thought I would ask for a replacement with something we can eat because we are still hungry. Cheryl came to the phone and i shard that that these two items are inedible and Cheryl replied that it was a personal preference and nothing is wrong with her food and refused to switch for something we could eat. I thought this place was a great addition to Kingston, and I was a regular for the GF chicken, however I won't be back. What Cheryl didn't know is that I critique restaurants and am in the field. I can not support a business with no customer service. I am shocked, and sad, that they would lose a customer over a mistake with over-spiced sweet potatoes and a very soggy salad. Being in the sustainbility, restaurant, and customer service field, this is very surprising that Cheryl would lose customers with something easily fixable like this. She should have said is, "I'm sorry you, please chose something else, and I am hopeful you will be back or even since we are mainly take out let me refund your card or add a credit for next time you come in.
Cozy vibes and large portions make this place a must-visit, with dishes that really delight the taste buds!

We had dinner last night at Ship to Shore. What a gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. Our server, Sheena, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered the Mussels and Brussels to start. They came with bread points or fries for the gluten free. My husband had Garlic Cream Linguini with chopped Romano Chicken. I had the petite filet with fingerling potatoes, charred carrots and a chimichurri sauce. Everything was delicious. We were very pleased. I would recommend Ship to Shore for dinner. We will try their lunch next time.

In town for a short visit with Friends and this spot was perfect. Since we were traveling with our dog we needed a spot with outdoor seating. The waitress was really nice and even brought our dog some water, and she was super patient with our party. Our group ordered a few items, including some drinks, and everything was good and filling. The atmosphere was really nice. Since it was later in the evening parking was free. The menu had a good selection of Gluten-free items. Chicken wrap, Stuffed Shrimp, Angus burger, pear slaw, fries. All very good.

I love Soy. The owner/chef is a beautiful person and takes great care in her food. It is healthy and very delicious. She can make dishes/salads with Gluten free sauces so ask for it. Call ahead to make reservations. Owner is doing everything herself- be patient, relax and enjoy the lovely garden, view of river out back and drinks while you wait for food. Totally worth it (I come from NYCity just to go to Soy after she moved her restaurant up there).
Amazing riverside views with live music make for a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a lively atmosphere.

The River Pavilion at Hutton Brickyards has the best views of the Hudson River. We had a great brunch directly beside the river and enjoyed the live music. The burger and wood fired apple pancake were both delicious. They have a gluten free pizza option which was yummy as well. Can’t wait to come back on a Friday or Saturday night for drinks and dinner.

We used Hickory catering for our wedding on Nov 12, 2022 at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie NY… and oh my goodness, they did NOT disappoint!! I can’t say enough about this staff. From Steve who put together our menu and was available for any questions or phone calls we had, to all the servers on the day of - our minds were so at ease knowing that everything would be taken care of for our big day. The lead server for our event, Bri, was the absolute best! She called the week of the wedding and went over everything with me to make sure she had the details. I was able to send her photos & info on decoration set up, table chart etc. and she made sure everything was executed perfectly the day of. I couldn’t have been happier. The food was also obviously outstanding - guests are still texting me about the delicious food and a few have asked where the restaurant is so they can go again! Steve worked with us on our dietary needs - so many gluten free options - which was very important to me since me and my immediate family have celiac disease.
From start to finish, we could not have been happier with the service provided by Hickory! Thank you Steve, Bri and staff!

Attended a reenactment event in Kingston and went here for dinner. We had a great time. It was fantastic. The downside was that there were many reenactors because the food and atmosphere are so nice and fit the revolution period. This led to a very busy kitchen which did an amazing job of keeping up. They were able to provide one of my party with gluten free options and noted her needs, and provided great food for all.
