Hey if they had gluten free beer I'd be in more often. The outdoor dining felt pretty germ safe. Though the staff does not were masks and the door handles have greasy finger prints all over them. The brussel sprouts were over cooked. Usually there amazing. But the Gluten free pepperoni pizza was to die for. Everyone else liked there food pretty well too. Accept mom ordered a veg pizza with garlic & oil as the sauce and it taste like they forgot to put any kind of sauce on it. So we ended up throwing half of it away. :( Other than that good experience. There were 8 of us food and drinks around $230 not including tip.
Expect generous portions of fresh, scratch-made meals and an impressive variety, plus refreshing fountain drink choices for a satisfying experience!

This is a regular place for us - I have celiac disease and so does the owner of this restaurant. They have a GF frier, separate prep area, and a from scratch GF monster "brookie" that is AMAZING!
Great food, good portions, friendly staff. Clean restaurant, seated quickly. Our grandson dropped his toy between the seat and the wall and they helped get it back. Gluten free options.
Big Dâs Smokinâ Q are putting out some of the best bbq locally; hands down. In a world of generalized bbq joints, Big Dâs separates themselves from the norm by offering slow and low smoked meats, mainly pork and chicken by being outside the box from the wood they use to their unique flavor profiles. Itâs hard to find great bbq where you actually taste the meat and the smoke is treated as an ingredient and this couple delivers consistently. If youâre looking for brisket, make sure to check their social media for daily updates to see if itâs being offered that day. Sure they have the classics, like pulled pork sandwiches and rib plates, but they offer fun and incredibly flavorful twists on other classic sandwiches like their versions of a smoked Cubano to Philly Cheesesteaks (available with either pulled pork or steak). And with an amazing brunch menu that pulls influences that resonate SW flavors, their Q expresses just how personal and heartfelt they approach their food. And for the most part, their menu is Gluten-Free. Tucked away behind a liquor store and Latin market off Santiam Road in Albany makes this place a hidden gem. So the next time youâre looking for amazing Q and great people serving it up, swing by Big Dâs.
