I have celiac disease, and I have always had amazing experiences here. I usually have sandwiches with gluten-free bread and love that I can get gluten-free lava cake for dessert. This is by far one of my favorite places to go for lunch and dinner.

We were half through a 14 hour drive day. We wanted something other than fast food. Picking a restaurant on the road can be hit or miss, Momma Spriggs was a hit. It wasn't too far off the express way. The food and service were great. They had gluten free buns for my burger. My wife really liked her ruben. The place was clean. We were there around 2 so they weren't too busy. We would stop again if we are in the area.

Hidden gem in Carlisle, excellent restaurant. Maybe the best burger I have ever had. Upscale feel with welcoming service. A great menu with something for everyone. Gluten free options are available.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Playa Bowls— whenever I’m in town I HAVE to get one. But I’m increasingly disappointed by the workers, the teenage (high school? College?) girls have seem more and more flustered and poorly trained each time I go to this location. Today, the girl at the register couldn’t properly tell my mother in law if the chicory coffee had caffeine (she just kept saying ‘it’s like a cold brew’ which is not an answer) and despite me asking for no granola since I have a gluten allergy and am sensitive to oats, there was granola in my bowl and I didn’t realize until I had taken a few bites. It wasn’t gluten free, so I had to take enzymes to deal with the symptoms the rest of the day. Don’t get me wrong, no one has ever been rude or anything, but if you have food allergies I would keep an eye out, since I think the kids were flustered by the number of online orders plus in person customers and struggling to keep up, so things were falling through the cracks.

The restaurant was crowded when we arrived, and we waited about half an hour between ordering and receiving our food. Nevertheless, the quality was good. There is a nice selection of sweet and savory crepes including gluten-free buckwheat-based options for a small upcharge. Prices are reasonable. I ordered a gluten-free smoked salmon crepe. Another in my party ordered the same without the gluten-free option. The staff was careful to distinguish the two for us. A third guest ordered a sweet chocolate raspberry crepe, which she enjoyed. The serving was sufficient for a brunch/lunch meal. The taste was flavorful. The waitstaff was friendly. Overall a good eating experience, and I would recommend this restaurant.
Outstanding service shines here, with fresh, hot meals and a commitment to sorting out rewards for a smooth dining experience.

Our visit today started off ok. Our server, Jennifer, seemed stressed or something, she was not the most personable and didn't even try to smile. When we ordered she seemed to get everything down correctly. At least she repeated it back to us correctly. However, when our food came my order was incorrect. I had ordered the baacon cheeseburger, gluten free roll and no tomato and ranch to dip fries in. What came was a regular cheeseburger with onion lettuce and tomato on it with campfire sauce to dip fries. When I questioned her she kept trying to tell me that was what I ordered. Even practically argued with me about it. Then she said can I just bring you bacon. I said that was fine. She didn't even bother to check on us til we were ready to leave. When I looked at my bill she had chargese for the bacon....that she missed on the order!! I couldn't even get her attention get that charge removed. I paid the bill and left. Very disappointed in the service my daughter and I received.
Plus they must have recently raised prices...for 2 of us to each get a burger, 1 water and 1 iced tea the bill was over $40...for lunch.

This may be the best burger I’ve ever had. A lovely establishment, which sticks to its theme. It tells a brief part of history - the Whiskey Rebellion - and has menu items appropriately named. The dishes looked delicious, and tasted even better. My wife had the deviled eggs which were “devilishly” good. We expected 3 halves, not three whole eggs, so that was a great surprise. The Mifflin Bull Burger was fantastic, as previously mentioned, perhaps the best burger I’ve ever had. The onion rings were massive and perfectly cooked. Think of the sound of crunching leaves or fresh snow, you could hear the crackle when biting into it. The burger was perfectly moist and seasoned. The burger came with a house made ketchup on the side, but the burger didn’t need it. The fries were crisp and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. For dessert, a gluten free cheesecake. As one may expect, a vast offering of Whiskeys. Convenient location, this place was incredible!
Great food! They have gluten-free options. The waitress was very attentive to detail and made sure I didn't get any cross-contamination. It was a great experience eating out here. The only other thing that could have made the experience better would be having off-street parking.
Great tasting chicken - we order the Gluten Free Rotisserie Chicken in the morning and pick it up on our way home from work. I usually get at least 2 meals out of one chicken. Enjoy!
