I’ve been taking my daughter to Sunny Side Cafe for years and have never been disappointed with the service or quality of food.
The menu is extensive with many options for everyone including vegetarian, vegans, or those with gluten allergies. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
I will suggest not going on Sundays unless you are prepared for an average 45 minute wait time. This is generally the busiest day and this restaurant is very popular.
The spot stands out for its creative pizzas and quality ingredients, making it a favorite for those with dietary preferences.

One of the best "Mellow Mushrooms" we've been to. I got a personal sized peperoni, sausage and sprinkled blieu cheese pizza, my wife got a gluten free combo pizza. Both were loaded with fresh, tasty ingredients. My wife is usually disappointed with gluten free pizza. Not this time. Server seemed genuinely friendly and enjoying their job, not just another college student putting in their time. Would definitely go back if it wasn't far from home.
Right on the water with boat access, this spot boasts exceptional service, a convenient parking garage entrance, and delicious gelato.

This place is amazing! The staff provides exceptional guest service and goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience for everyone. The owners are fantastic. The restaurant is located right on the water and is easily accessible by boat. I was pleasantly surprised to find an entrance to the restaurant at the parking garage. The food here is delicious, with a variety of tasty side dishes. They also offer gluten-free and vegan options. Can't wait to visit again!
Overpriced & under-flavored. I've eaten NY pizza all my life - in NY - and this isn't it. NY pizza has a high gluten crust, a well flavored sauce, and just the right amount of a high quality mozzarella. That's all you need. This pizza lacks all three.
Does this look like a hand made NY crust to you? Nothing more than formed bread dough. I don't care how thin it is Joe, that's not the point.
And where's the sauce? It's crushed tomatoes with little flavor and no chance of cooking into the crust.
BTW when I asked the server where the sausage was she pointed and told me "it's those tiny bits there" I said "kinda like sausage dust" She chuckled.
The staff is great, willing to accommodate any needs, including making dishes gluten free. They are friendly and the service is fast and accurate every time. The menu has a variety of Japanese rice dishes that are sure to cater to anyone in a group. The prices are fair and the food is delicious. Each dish is customizable. I would love to see a larger selection on the menu. Traditional Japanese ramen and a few noodle dishes would add a lot to the menu. Adding a spicy custom option as well as an expanded list of vegetables like edamame and peas may help add variety to existing selections. Overall consistently an enjoyable experience.

This is my favorite coffee shop ever!! I have never been disappointed. Not only is the coffee and food absolutely amazing but the employees are super sweet, friendly, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend going there! Why are you hesitating? Just go!! They also have gluten and dairy free options! The atmosphere is amazing and it's also super clean.
