I really wanna like this place. I do. The food is pretty good and they have a lot of vegan and gluten-free options which I appreciate.
However, no matter how much time you prep to get your items, or you order ahead using their app, they always seem to mess up your order. I’m multiple occasions. I’ve ordered up to 45 minutes in advance, giving plenty of time for them to create my order. I’m not a complex gal. I don’t add a lot of substitutions. Just today I ordered ahead, Latte and a muffin. Pretty easy. I got there to find out my stuff wasn’t ready, and the staff seem to be extremely confused. They messed up my order three times to the point where I just had to go because I didn’t want to be late for work. They didn’t really care to apologize just kept trying to remake it before clarifying what they actually need to remake. I feel like this is one of those moments where they needed to slow down to speed up.
This place is one of the few places I can go quickly due to where I work. I really want to like this place, but it’s hard when almost every time my order is messed up or not ready. Seems like the owner cares a lot about his business so I hope this feedback is something that they can work on or make a plan for because the place is really neat and the food is good

My husband and I came in late and ordered 5 pizzas and a salad. The staff took that order like champs and were super friendly! MOD pizza never disappoints, whether you choose a pizza from the menu or create your own. I just wish the Calexico didn't give me heartburn because it's so damn good! But now I go with the Mad Dog or the Caspian. I also like that they offer gluten free crust and Cauliflower crust for those with sensitivities.
