I recently visited Brighton Soul for brunch and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant and cozy ambiance caught my attention. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, catering to both classic and adventurous palates.
I opted for their signature Soulful Benedict, which combined perfectly poached eggs with a rich hollandaise sauce and a unique twist of avocado salsa. The flavors were a harmonious blend of savory and fresh, leaving me craving more with every bite.
The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every detail was taken care of. The presentation of the dishes was top-notch, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The highlight for me was the attention to dietary preferences. Brighton Soul had a commendable selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options, ensuring that everyone could indulge in a fantastic brunch.
Overall, I would give Brighton Soul a perfect 5/5 rating. The combination of delectable food, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service makes it a brunch spot that I would eagerly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable culinary experience.
Expect generous portions and tasty extras that elevate the experience, making it a must-visit spot for a satisfying meal.

As a general rule if I have an unpleasant experience at a restaurant I don’t leave a review as I know times have been hard but today I am particularly annoyed so will break my rule. I required a gluten free meal so I ordered the fish and chips which was showing a gluten free option. The fish arrived grilled instead of battered and had chips and salad. The waiter specifically mentioned that the fish was gluten free but then I thought I should check the chips. I was advised that the potatoes were gluten free but were cooked in oil where gluten containing food was cooked- that means IT IS NOT GLUTEN FREE. So the chips were removed and I yet I still had to pay for a full meal even though I left hungry. How difficult is it to provide a replacement? Do better people or simply don’t offer the option. On the plus side the fish was nice and the salad fresh but I will not be returning.
After an earlier visit we went back with an old friend for a light lunch. Sweetcorn zucchini fritters (gluten free), lamb halloumi burger and smashed avo all arrived together and were delicious. Super staff, great ambience, clean and bright.
