The gluten-free apple fries were so good. The owner made them fresh while I waited. She was so friendly. 10/10 recommend even if you don’t need a gluten free place. It’s a short walk from the cruise ship port

Absolutely great seafood , service and atmosphere. 5 of us dined outside ordering seafood dishes , all excellent and delivered to our picnic table at the same time by our fantastic waitress Lynn and 2 fellow employees. Deserts were amazing especially the carrot cake and bread pudding with brown sugar sauce. 2 of our party are gluten free and enjoyed the multiple choices available including in the deserts. We all enjoyed it so much we ordered takeout for our supper that evening. Thank you so much , we'll definitely be back for great home cooking and hospitality.

This coffeshop hit all the marks and is 1000% worth a visit. The food and beverages are delicious. The service is excellent. Location is idyllic. And the patio is shaded, comfy, and dog friendly. AND : they serve vegan and gluten free food! Also it is definitely an LGBTQ+ safe environment. AND they sell vinyls! This place is way too cool.
I spent the day there to work remotely and stayed on the patio alone with my dog. I ate breakfast and lunch. Had the avocado toast (yuuuum), kale smoothie (also yum), and a brownie (dayum!). I tried the veggie sandwich for lunch with an iced strawberry tea. All the food tasted fresh and was carefully prepared, as well as the beverages. The only "negative" aspect was that the gluten free bread in the sandwich was falling appart and made the meal a bit too dry, but that's fair for gluten free bread. I believe toasting the bread could make it hold together better. I just added some of the dressing from the side salad in the sandwich and it balanced the dryness and made the bread hold together a bit more. Everything was delicious and homemade, and fresh 🤤.
Highly recommend!
Dog friendly, BIPOC friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly, neutral bathrooms, tasty food, coeliac friendly, fat friendly (no armrest on chairs inside). Come encourage this local business, it must prevail 🤩.
P.s. ridiculously fast Wi-Fi
P.s.2. I could easily park in the back with my car and small travel trailer.
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with a creative menu and a fantastic selection of beers that'll please everyone in your group!

We ordered the Beachside BBQ burger. What a creative and tasty blend! Server Cathy was an absolute delight. It was a busy Friday lunch. Food came hot and tasty. I ordered kettle chips, but next time I will get one of the delicious salads. Better for the health! We were too full for dessert, but I am sure the sticky date pudding and cheese make were great.
Others ordered the chicken burger and fries and fish and chips. Both meals were gorgeous or reported to be tasty. Still a great place for gluten free selections.

My husband and I are on a cruise and it just happened to be raining-we ducked in Receivers to get a break from the rain. My husband is a true blue Starbucks guy and loved this coffee. They don’t have blended drinks so I had a cup of hot chocolate-very delicious. The exposed brick walls give this place a warm a cozy vibe-plenty of light comes in through huge glass plate windows. Staff is super nice and offer gluten free and vegan options. Cocktails and spirited coffees are available. I definitely recommend this place. Love the ambiance

Found gluten free donuts - this is a big deal if being gluten free is a necessity, not choice. Nice shop.
Also found some goodies at Maritime Madness. Would have picked up additional things if the items weren't destined to be presents for the people I was with. There will be a next time.

Excellent product and service! I love that there are always new flavours of cider to try. Father Walker’s is dry and delicious with a scandalous story behind the name. I love that they deliver this gluten free goodness straight to my house!
Enjoy a stunning view by the waterfront while watching chefs at work, just be ready with some bug spray for those pesky mosquitoes!

Lovely view, friendly staff and amazing food! We ordered the lobster dinners and the staff even had a handmade gluten free biscuit for me!
We had to sit on the deck because we had our dog with us, and it was beautiful, but unfortunately the mosquitos in the area made us rush out. Hazard of the location, but just something to be aware of - bring bug spray!
A fantastic spot for gatherings with delightful meals and a cheerful atmosphere that leaves guests feeling satisfied and happy!

Could be a lovely spot. It's right on the water's edge, and the view is lovely, but everything else leaves something to be desired. After being pushed by the server to "just choose something to drink," my fiance ordered the spinach dip, with the seafood Linguine, and a flight of beers to drink since he wanted to try them all. I had the chowder, with the Lobster roll, and asked for them to be gluten free. Our apps came out pretty quickly, but my chowder had 2 Baguette slices on the side of it. We called the server back and asked if they were GF, and she said said no, as if it was a stupid question. My fiance took the bread from my bowl, and we ate. Luckily, I am not that sensitive and cross contamination doesn't usually make me sick. The apps were fairly good, but didn't seem to be very fresh. Our mains came before we were even halfway through the apps. My Lobster roll came on 2 GF slices of bread, with a leaf of Lettuce and a fair helping of Lobster filling. My fiancé's Linguine had a thick tomato sauce that wasn't warmed all the way through, and several cold peices of fish, scallops, and mussles. We tried our mains, and I found mine to be truly tastless, and my fiancé said only his noodles were warm. I had to add more mayo to my roll because it was incredibly dry, and my fiancé couldn't even finish his meal, saying that it tasted like it was made yesterday. Our sever stood at the front of the room, on her phone, and we had to go get her any time we needed anything. When it was time to pay, she had her back to us, scrolling on her phone, talking to one of her co workers. The co worker finally pointed out that we were there, and our server brought over our bill.
