ALL PERFECT! We were three people with celiac disease, and it is rare to find a restaurant that has so many quality, gluten-free options! We ordered two gluten-free fried fish and a tartare, truly extraordinary, and the waiters, kind and helpful, didn't let us miss out on gluten-free bread.

fish restaurant in the center of Piombino in a side street (via garibaldi) of the main street. The specialties are fish, the menu wasn't even there when I went but it was explained by the very kind waiters. The fish starters are spectacular. There are fish of all kinds, not as famous as those in all the classic fish restaurants, but like deep-sea fish. The best dish is the Corsican soup, a spectacular puree that brings back good mood. Nice place and more than honest prices (half the price of Elba!). Definitely coming back. Plus, for a celiac like me, everything was gluten-free or contaminated.
With a cozy vibe near the historic center, expect unique off-menu dishes and a solid selection of wines that keep guests coming back.
