Løvetann is so cozy! Their food is great and so is their selection of beverages. I had a super nice red wine last time I was there. And it is one of the few places in Bergen where you get good tea (and not just a Ceylon tea bag). Love it!
They are very accommodating when it comes to dietary requirements and choices. There are always several things on their menu that are both gluten free and vegan, or can be modified to fit. Thank you for being inclusive! ❤️

I quite enjoyed this restaurant. I had the cod with bacon on top and the flatbread on the side. It was cooked perfectly and the presentation was beautiful. Being American, I thought the ‘flatbread’ was going to be a side of pieces of bread, but they were crackers basically.
I got the brownie for dessert which was enjoyable as well. My gluten free friend had the gluten free carrot cake and said it was the best gluten free cake he’s ever had!

They make great burgers that comes with fries and salad and had both many glutenfree, vegetarian and vegan options.
I had a vegan burger and it tasted fantastic.
The staff were competent and students get discount.

Two vegans and one omnivore went to eat here. The menu lies and says that vegan dishes are marked with a "v" but in fact they are vegetarian. There was only one dish "blomkålsteik" that was vegan out of those marked with a "v" and it was just ok, didn't finish because it had way to much vinegar (I think it was vinegar, at least it was clear liquid that had a tangy flavour) around the dish. We asked about the "vegetarburger" and were told that if we switched the bread to gluten free bread it would be vegan so that is what we did and asked for a side of french fries, when that arrived there was a sauce on the plate, that I asked about, since it was not listed on the menu and the lady bringing it said it was garlic aioli (aioli is usually not vegan) so I asked her if it contained any eggs or milk, and she said; "I'm pretty sure it's vegan" needless to say, we didn't eat it. The Omni had "finnbiff", he said it was under seasoned but filling)
I would have given it two stars but they had a play area for the kids which was really helpful after waiting forever in line to get to the top.
