Really lovely place. Staff are really friendly and just a fun atmosphere. The food is great and just had lovely tuna melt. The baked goods are delicious. Vegan and or gluten free opinions are plenty too. Just a lovely spot.

The staff were lovely and certainly knew their stuff about coffee and food. They were very coeliac aware and accommodating and cooked GF bread separately which is great. Their homemade coffee was so good and had a fruity flavour and their food delicious. A must stop if you are visiting Banchory!!

Buchanans is by far our favourite place to eat out. The food is delicious and the staff are always lovely. They have many gluten free and vegan options and are always great at accommodating our tricky dietary demands. They are dog friendly and child friendly, with toys and books to play with. Their latest dinner menu is particularly good, we will be back very soon!

Didn't even realize this was no longer an inn, so thank God we checked in on the way past! Gorgeous little cafe, amazing coffee, great cake selection with a gluten free option and the menu looks incredible! Really friendly staff and fantastic setting, right by the river with a lovely outside seating area
