We've been going to the Gate for years with my colleagues. The venue is great however as the years have gone bye the food quality has gone totally downhill. Cheap and tastesless. I asked for a gluten free burger without bun. The lettuce edges were brown. Although I had taken a couple bites before taking the picture, that meal cost with me £14. I will not be going back there for to eat anything. The burger pattie was so dry and cheap tasting. Never again.
A charming spot for a delightful lunch with a welcoming vibe, perfect for both lively gatherings and relaxed meals.

We had a lovely Easter Sunday lunch here. The food was great and we received great service from Leah, who was super welcoming and friendly to us and our lively spaniel, as well as helpful with my gluten allergy. We always have a really good time and meal in this place!
With a chilled vibe and delicious cocktails, this spot offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for a laid-back evening out.

Best gluten free pizza I’ve had in a while! Waiter was very attentive and even though we came late on a Sunday evening, we didn’t feel rushed or anything. Only marked down for atmosphere as it was only us and a few others in there (but expected for a Sunday!)
What an amazing cafe- and best thing is they do Gluten free and Vegan. Will defo being going back to try something else. Lovely atmosphere inside and very friendly staff too.
