Completely gluten free and Italian owned so you can buy niche products too, the restaurant two doors down as well is owned by the same people and the chef is an Italian celiac chef. His food is incredible and he specialises is seafood but also makes handmade pasta for each dish.
Enjoy a buzzing vibe with amazing flavors and a diverse menu catering to various diets, perfect for gatherings or a casual day out.

We have now visited three times . Twice in a afternoon for coffee and cake and this Christmas eve for evening meal out.
I found staff to be very helpful and patient. It as a good gluten free menu as my wife is gluten-free. It also has a good vegan/vegetarian choice as my daughter is vegetarian. It's also dog friendly so if you have a pooch it's a good place to go . Every time we have been it's been busy but we have always managed to get a table . Would recommend for all to enjoy

I brought my friend who has a gluten intolerance to Birdhouse because the menu offered many gluten free options. However it's not explicit that the gluten free pancakes are actually waffles, of which are very small and a bit hard. My friend was really disappointed by this, we've been to many places which provide GF options and the waitress did not make it clear the pancakes ordered would actually be waffles. Not only that but my pancakes were very poor, they tasted heavily of baking powder and it wasn't a great experience overall. I think for spending £30 really it was all style but no substance. Not making it clear with your menu that the GF are an alternative choice is pretty poor. Disappointed as so many people had recommended yourselves but it fell short with both service and taste. The cafe was also very cold. I would say to people seek alternatives, there are so many options in Sheffield. Really disappointed.
This gem features a calming vibe, generous portions, and a menu bursting with flavorful vegan and vegetarian options perfect for any mealtime.

The food I had at The Chakra Lounge was good. I was impressed by the assurance that loaded fries are coeliac friendly, and the service staff were great at double checking with the kitchen.
Only thing is not a lot of choice for coeliacs, hence the 4 stars not 5!
Smoothie was 10/10

Brilliant food - beef croquets to start were delicious, as well as the halloumi fries. Steak cooked to perfection, fish & chips and pork belly all delicious. Service was great, very attentive & helped with gluten free option. We had colouring for the children, and staff took time to listen to us. Thank you for a great evening and for looking after us so well Jamie, Lisa & Ellie. Bonus that we had the January offer too!
Great spot with unique dishes, perfect for groups, and a menu that surprises with tasty options along the way to Buxton.

Had a lovely meal for 14 of us. We pre-ordered our choices which meant hardly any wait at all for an order that size.
Good choice of gluten free on the menu as well as both my daughter and I have coeliac disease
Stylish spot with a relaxed vibe, famous for large Sunday lunches and incredible pies, but reservations are a must to enjoy it all!

Lovely food and really nice restaurant. Couldn’t fault the food, large portions especially on the Sunday lunch. On Sundays you can only order the Sunday lunch menu, main menu is not available. Could also do with a longer reservation as we only just managed to squeeze in main and dessert in two hours. Also no main dishes that are gluten free due to Yorkshire puddings on the Sunday menu.

Was thrilled with my visit here. We drove over an hour to this board game cafe because it was the only one I could find that had gluten free food options, and it was so worth it. This place is definitely a new favourite for me and my friends.
The staff were all incredibly lovely and just so helpful, attentive and patient. 10/10
Lovely atmosphere and layout, it felt both cosy and spacious and is just a really well-done set up with nice lighting.
There is a huge range of games to play and lots of options for beginners. There were also a great range of games for sale.
The food and drinks were really great. My friend was blown away by the GF bagels and said they were amazing. All the food and drinks were so nicely made and presented and the service was really speedy as well.
Would highly recommend a visit here!

Great place, fun staff, and so much choice. They can do gluten free versions of most dishes and are very helpful. We had a naked chicken molè and it was delicious. I just wish there were more branches of the store around. Great place, love recommending it to anyone.

Love the red deer. Particularly big fan of the vegan fish and chips 😋 and the deep fried pickles.
Regular rotation and wide selection of real ale and other drinks.
Also, good selection of gluten free food.
