High hopes, but kind of a letdown. First off, 87.00 dollars for two burgers with fries, a glass of wine and an iced tea seems a bit much. Was expecting it to wow us. They have gluten free options there. The gluten free bun was not prepared well and completely fell apart after one bite. Wishing I would have just skipped the bun. Fries are in a dedicated fryer. The fries were all just pieces... All broken up. The iced tea was pretty good. The staff was nice but a bit aloof. Really wanted to like the place, but thought it was just mediocre and overly priced.
A cozy gem with a vibrant atmosphere, known for its quick service, local art, and a unique menu that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Our favorite breakfast spot when visiting SLO! Sally Loo’s was recommended from friends that live in the area and we couldn’t have been more glad we came.
Hands down they have the best breakfast food we have ever tried, all while being allergy friendly and quick to get the orders out. I don’t think I have ever seen a cafe that has knocked out a line of 30 people so quickly, all while keeping the food quality top notch.
My wife is allergic to gluten and eggs, so the restaurants we can go to are limited. Sally Loo’s handles allergy restrictions effectively and efficiently. Every restaurant can learn from them.
This spot offers a unique dining experience with authentic Italian flavors, a cozy ambiance, and a fantastic outdoor seating area perfect for evenings.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! They can make anything but samosas gluten free, and can make most sauces dairy free. I love being able to have naan again! My favorites are lamb boti kebab, tandoori chicken, chicken vindaloo, vegetable pakora, chicken pakora. I've heard their chicken tikka masala is wonderful, but haven't had them make it dairy-free for me yet.

Linnea's is my favorite cafe! So many tea options, and the workers are welcoming and nice! The back garden is very relaxing and a great place to study or catch some live music. Many vegan and gluten free options for those with dietary restrictions. Tea and coffee loyalty cards can help you save some money if you become a repeat customer (like me)!

I get what all the hype is about; Giuseppe's is legit delish. We ordered Margherita pizza and Cima di Rapa pasta, both gluten free. We had the Gelato trio for dessert - we tried pistachio, butter pecan, and lemon - pistachio was our fave. We look forward to eating there again, and appreciate so many gluten free options.
Enjoy a vibrant creekside dining experience with fresh, flavorful dishes, a charming outdoor patio, and a unique blend of California bistro and Asian fusion.

Went in for a late lunch on a Tuesday. It was pretty quiet with just some regulars. I got a gluten free Luna burger. It was excellent!! My boyfriend got the Bogy burger and some onion rings and thoroughly enjoyed both as well. I wish we had saved room for a milkshake because they looked delicious. The staff was excellent but Jenny, in particular, is an absolute gem! Soooo kind, friendly, and attentive. Would 100% go back!
I ordered the iced vanilla bean latte here and it was delicious! Not too sweet, very well balanced flavor. Would come here again for the drinks.
I originally seeked out this coffee shop in particular because other reviews mentioned gluten free pastries. As a celiac l would like to give feedback from that perspective… There were two gluten-free pastry options. However, they were both on separate plates touching other gluten pastries. If the GF pastries were on the plate together, rather than touching other gluten-containing items, they would be safer to eat for people allergic to gluten. Please consider for the future! (:
Anyways, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was good too. Even the fellow patrons were super nice. Good vibes all around.

We went to two of the Scout locations. Both made excellent beverages. The downtown location offered some yummy gluten free goodies and the Scout cookie (not GF) was so good. Can see why it is so popular. Worth a visit when you are in town.

My girlfriend and I, along with our two dogs made a stop here after exploring the many trials of Los Osos has to offer. We built up an appetite.
Open entering we were greeted by our host - the place had a very cool vibe, he was very friendly and greeted us with a smile, he immediately offered up a water bowl to our dogs - this was b4 we had the chance to ask him if the establishment was dog friendly ✅. We were lead to the counter where we placed our orders. Tri-tip French dip, chicken salad and a couple cups of pozole + a couple glasses of wine. Seating was plentiful and comfortable but mostly outdoors. We found a table and waited for our order, both our dogs got their own seats :) The ambiance at this place is awesome; very cool art, fun and edgy decor and awesome music - we heard mostly 90’s: alt and hip hop. Rage against the machine comes to mind. The food came out quickly and with a smile. Tri-dip dip dip was insanely good and made with gluten free bread, chicken salad was on point and the pozole was hellza legit; it also came with a side of their sourdough which was extremely good.
Beerwood is a wonderful establishment. Will plan another visit next time I’m in town

AMAZING GLUTEN-FREE AVO TOAST!
I am always hesitant to order something with gluten-free bread because the taste and texture usually ruin a sando. Not here!
Toast #5 (with smoked salmon) was absolutely scrumptious!
The interior is fresh, clean, airy, and bright. The counter staff are very pleasant and match the whole vibe of the place. BONUS: dine-in food is served with reusable plates/bowls/glasses/utensils = eco-friendly!
I am new to SLO and I am delighted to have found this gem! I will be a regular and can’t wait to return!
Stopped for first time Sunday at 12:30. Extremely busy, but a lot of staff. Had to wait a long time for breakfast because I think they forgot ours at first. Coffee pots were out and would be nice if they offered a gluten free bagel sandwich or gf bread option.
One of our favorite restaurants in SLO. Has enough gluten free options and the staff is kind enough to accommodate gluten free requests every time. The cook understands no cross contamination and was willing to cook my food in a separate skillet. Just a down home place with good food every time!
With its classic pizzas that beat the competition, this spot has quickly become a family favorite for movie nights and casual dining.

I love pizza. I seriously love it. I consider it one of the greatest creations of mankind. We usually order pizza once per week for our movie nights. Before Bravo opened up we usually ordered from Nucci's on Broad, and if we went out we usually went to Petra's. Gino's for after sports events (great pizza plus the arcade games). Having lived in the Midwest 10 years, I appreciate a classic non-nonsense good pizza. I love foodie pizzas too (Flour House is great), but my favorite is still a classic pizza.
When Bravo opened up it was quite a bit closer to us than Nucci's, so we thought we'd give it a shot, expecting we'd probably stick with Nucci's since we really liked their pizza as well. Turns out the entire family loves Bravo pizza more than any other pizza place in town. My wife enjoys their salads, and often orders a fancier pizza (cauliflower crust, gluten free, supreme, BBQ, white sauce, you name it) whereas I typically go with the classic--pepperoni, sometimes cheese.
Best pizza in SLO in my humble opinion. For a classic pizza, you can't beat Bravo. Fair price, always friendly staff.
A hidden gem upstairs offering a creative mix of dishes, unique flavors, and must-try desserts that keep people coming back for more.

We met the owners (Kern and John) at another restaurant and decided to stop by. They seem to advertise as a Mexican restaurant but are much more varied than that. There were a number of interesting items on the menu (Cal-Mex Cuisine Tacos, Burgers, Mission-Style Burritos, Tortas, — Todo Bueno SLO Tacos Burgers Beer). We split the Fish and Chips. The fish was not battered but nicely fried and the seasoning on the fries was delightfully unique. You must have the Smore-Dilla for dessert. A combination of multiple textures and flavors including small smores made from quesadillas. Heavenly. We will be back to taste the rest of the menu. They also have gluten free dishes.
On our last visit we asked Doi to just bring us her choice. Absolutely amazing. We brought company from out of town and they were so impressed. The curry was delicious (gluten free) and the vegetable dish was so fresh and flavorful. The fried wontons are addictive and the Crispy Calamari is to "die for."
