If you're in Columbia then you should stop to eat at Shakespeare pizza. I do once a year at least. 3 locations but my favorite is the south and off campus. I had a gluten free crust. Very good.
Enjoy a cozy spot with a quick drive-thru, perfect for grabbing a satisfying bite on the go.

It's ok, but what you get for the price isn't worth it to me. I do appreciate the gluten free bun option.
Their iced tea is good but it seems to always be empty when I'm there.
A go-to spot with unique toppings and tasty options for everyone, perfect for families looking to enjoy pizza together.

My daughter was in Columbia for a soccer trip. Her original stop was at Shakespeare Pizza. My daughter has celiac disease. Shakespeare pizza was not willing to wipe their counters off to make a clean pizza, for her. They let her know that they don't have time to accommodate her. Her and my husband headed over to Pizza tree. They couldn't have been more accommodating and she said the gluten free pizza was absolutely delicious! And she was symptom free! Highly recommend!
This cozy spot offers a warm atmosphere, friendly vibes, and a great variety of drinks that'll keep you coming back for more.

I love Toasty Goat! I came in yesterday and was immediately amazed by the positive and loving atmosphere! The baristas greeted the customers by name. It was very cozy and comfortable with plenty of seating. I loved the gluten free brownie. The menu had plenty of variety! Such a wonderful coffee shop! Highly recommend to anyone!
Enjoy a relaxed, open atmosphere where amazing delights and fresh fruit await, making it your new favorite spot to unwind!

It's really hard to eat out when you have Celiac Disease but this place has a dedicated gluten-free waffle maker and they are cautious about cross-contamination.
The food was amazing and the customer service was above and beyond!

We had a private dinner in the back room for a work event with about 25 people, many from out of the state. Billy was fabulous to work with while planning the event and Caitlin our waitress was fantastic. I would highly recommend Room 38 to anyone who needs a casual and fun space to get together. Food was great and drinks even better! I have celiacs, so I am unable to eat gluten, and the staff answered all of my questions and I felt very safe eating here. I will be back next time I visit Columbia for sure!

This is personally my favorite go-to COMO dining spot. They have some knockout bbq, as well as some fantastic signature cocktails! They have the most expansive bbq menu I have ever seen, with options for everyone! (vegan and gluten free) If you are visiting COMO you HAVE to make a stop at this beautiful establishment!
Perfect spot for a post-visit pick-me-up, with comforting warm bowls that hit the spot, especially for those with specific cravings.

We went to Panera after a long afternoon at the hospital and cancer associates. I hadn't had lunch, and was feeling weak and hungry. They had a delicious "warm bowl" that was just what the doctor ordered. I was grateful to find something I could eat, because I have multiple food allergies, including gluten, tomatoes, and yeast. I'd give it 5 stars if there had been more choices I wasn't allergic to.
A local gem in Columbia with fresh ingredients, unique vegetarian options, and impressive packaging that keeps everything perfectly intact.

This is currently my favorite restaurant in Columbia. The food is delicious, and the people are so friendly and helpful. There are lots of vegetarian options and dishes made with rice or rice noodles for folks who need to avoid gluten. The ingredients are fresh and of good quality, and the food is well-packaged (doesn’t leak, and they don’t package in styrofoam anymore, so even very hot food doesn’t melt it). I really can’t say enough good things about this place. PS The tofu soup is one of the most amazingly delicious soups I’ve ever had.
I mean, I'm gluten-free and they have organic corn tortillas so the Taco Tuesday is absolutely a must. Um, not gonna lie, kinda intrigued by their breakfast items
A vibrant spot with plenty of vegetarian options, perfect for those seeking a fresh and wholesome dining experience.

This was our first visit to a First Watch location and we loved it. Offers several menu items that are vegetarian and/or gluten-free. (That said, it would be nice to have GF pancakes or biscuits.) Looking forward to going back soon.
This laid-back joint is a go-to for amazing fish and an array of favorites that keep patrons coming back for more.

The food is usually good, but don’t go if you’re on a schedule. It took 25 minutes for two burgers and fries to come out, and one burger had to be remade because the gluten free bread got forgotten.
