I get together with old friends once a quarter at Evelyn's. The food, service and atmosphere are conducive for our get togethers, as there's
something for everyone to eat, be they vegetarian, gluten free, or allergic, and it's always delicious. We can hear each other, because it's not noisy and it's adorable.
Remember Cheers on TV? This cafe has that same neighborhood vibe. I've met people here I never would have met anywhere else. The couple who own the cafe are a pastry chef and her husband. I really appreciate the gluten free options! The saffron tea is to die for. There's an outdoor patio. What's not to love?

My friend introduced me to this place a few months ago and it immediately became my favorite bubble tea spot around Rutgers. I love fruit teas, and especially fruit teas with actual fruit in them, so this place is perfect! My favorite is the grapefruit passion tea. They also have gluten free chocolate lava cake which is a pleasant surprise.
