Berret's is the colonial seafood restaurant that was once a gas station. It has the tavern in town setting with indoor and outdoor seating, excellent food and wonderful service. Cornhole out in front and parking nearby.
One member of our party enjoyed the freshest Victory Point oysters and we all shared the appetizer sampler with more oysters. The blue plate with the she crab soup was unlike a blue plate anywhere else, with the meaty crab cake and large grilled shrimp artfully arranged atop a mound of home style mashed potatoes and veggies. The seafood baked in parchment paper is presented table side still steaming from the kitchen. The wild mushrooms with orzo and vegetables is a vegan plate that was a full meal.
For dessert I shared a massive slice of carrot cake with the orange cream buttercream and our other diner enjoyed the gluten free ultimate ganache brownie that was gooey and delicious.
The restaurant offers gluten free and vegetarian options.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with tasty drinks and a variety of unique options that make it a must-visit spot in town!

We had a great experience! Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal, and there were quite a few gluten free options. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about both the food and cocktail menus.
I especially recommend the chocolate cake!
Diverse drink options and a lively vibe make it a great hangout spot, plus there's outdoor seating for those who prefer fresh air.

I appreciate the variety of options for drinks, food, and snacks. Many unique and fun options to try like a wild berry shaken tea, or an almond joy espresso. They also have low-gluten friendly options for sweets and sandwiches which I appreciate. They have outdoor seating which is nice because the inside is pretty crowded.
Enjoy a fantastic breakfast or brunch with a variety of delicious options, unique toppings, and a relaxed, spacious atmosphere.

I ordered gluten free noodles and asked the cashier what was a sauce that contained no gluten and she told me to get the Pad Thai so I did I ordered and I live pretty far so I didn’t notice until I got home but they gave me the regular noodles and there was crunchy stuff in it (I’m assuming contain gluten) the cashier herself had to refer to a sheet of paper for ingredients so I figured I was safe. I have a very high gluten intolerance (not celiac) so I thought this would be a safe place for me to eat. On top of this is took a bit to get me my food. Pretty disappointed.
This spot is a delightful gem featuring cozy vibes, fantastic service, and mouthwatering Italian dishes that keep everyone smiling.

Came in with a toddler and the people up front were so friendly with her it made our short wait so great. I got the gluten free pepperoni pizza….WOW, just wow. So delicious. My bf got the regular pepperoni…he looked over at me in the car and was like…this is some of the best pizza! Too bad we don’t live near here, this would be our go to spot!
With delightful vibes and a cozy atmosphere, this spot offers a wide variety of tasty options and an impressive beer selection that guests love.

I would recommend calling ahead of time to set a reservation, they will sit you on the nicer side of the restaurant. We came in on a Monday night for dinner (×4) and they sat us near the bar. The food was delicious with a wide selection! Lots of options for gluten free and super attentive with allergies.
Charming spot with a vibrant atmosphere, fun art, and excellent coffee that makes every visit enjoyable.

Whether you have Celiac or not, the gluten free menus items and desserts are out of this world. NOT just a selection of one or 2 items either. I highly recommend. Patron for life.

Come here and get the tacos. Albeit expensive this place is delicious and consistent. Expect to spend $25/per person. Take-out sides are very very tiny, that is my only complaint. My kids love the poblano Mac n cheese. Gluten-free friendly, great bar staff and a good beer menu make this the best bbq shop in Williamsburg. Don't eat at busch gardens, go here.
Food was delicious. Staff was very helpful with avoiding foods I'm allergic to. Lots of gluten free and dairy free and vegan combinations. Beautiful patio to eat outside.
I will never ever go to Mooyah again!! This experience was awful! My daughter & I were going to share a burger because she wasn’t that hungry. So I ordered the Build Your Own Single Burger with an outrageous price of $3.50 for a gluten free bun, but what do you do if you are gluten free? You HAVE to pay it. I stated the toppings I wanted, one of them being mayonnaise. The associate (Joseph) repeated it back to me saying mayonnaise. I added the Combo Meal (Personal Sweet Regular Drink and Personal Sweet Fries) and a bottled water. I have always liked their sweet tea (as it says on the drink machine) and was looking forward to getting some. Yuck!!! It was unsweetened tea. Not happy, but what do you do?? Get some sweeteners, right? Wrong! Nothing but sugars and there wasn’t many of them. I went to the counter and asked if they had any sweeteners. He said he would get some. It took a good at least 5 minutes of me waiting near the counter to finally get some when he went into the cabinet under the drink counter. I reluctantly put it in my tea & it tasted awful of course. They finally brought our order in a paper bag to our table. The burger was very small. I paid $7.29 plus $3.50 for this??? Then, as we each took bites of it, we discovered it had mustard on it. I HATE mustard and my daughter is allergic to it. I looked at my receipt and sure enough it said mustard. What could I do? Take it back? My word against theirs? The customer is always right, like the saying goes…not anymore in this day and age. We were screwed. I finished off just the meat part of the burger. Not happy. Never again. Btw, that one burger, fries and 2 drinks came to $22.28. For what? A small burger my daughter couldn’t eat, fries, which I admit were good and 2 drinks, one of which tasted awful, in the garbage.
Elegant atmosphere perfect for events, with fantastic service and a stunning experience that caters to every need—highly recommended for any occasion!

We reserved one of the dining rooms for our wedding reception dinner. It was a wonderful experience! We had a great time planning and coordinating with Howard who is really helpful and knowledgeable. The food, wine, and desserts were absolutely spectacular. The restaurant is already beautiful so we only added a minimal amount of floral arrangements for an elegant dinner. Service was lovely and our Day of Coordinator worked seamlessly with Le Yaca staff to set up. We definitely recommend ordering plenty of amuse bouche. There were incredible gluten free options for all the courses. The pastry chef made us DELICIOUS cake and dessert options. I really couldn't have asked for anything better. Highly recommend Le Yaca French Restaurant for anything from a formal dinner to a casual lunch. They WILL take care of you.
Experience a lively atmosphere where the owner personally greets you, creating a welcoming vibe that makes every visit memorable.

We had a new waitress, Casey, this past weekend at The Hound's Tale and she was attentive, funny, and was able to take our (tons) of questions with grace and get back to us from the kitchen (celiac in the group). Highly recommend not only their staff but their food was incredible too!
From the 3 ladies who ordered a LOT and laughed LOUDLY -- Casey you were excellent!
We had both wonderful service and delicious food! The almond orange zest flourless cake (gluten free!) was out of this world, an easy 20 out of 10. The tapas and sangria were great as well. We also appreciated the trees shading the outdoor seating.
Experience a unique blend of quick service and excellent flavors in a casual setting that perfectly balances quality and affordability.

This was a fabulous meal and dining experience. It’s not a fine dining place, and it’s not fast food. It is excellent food, and comes quick with great service. We had oysters on the half shell, octopus (which had great flavor, but not texture), a fried whole red snapper, and muscles and lobster. My wife’s Gluten Free and Whole 30 AIP+Fodmap dietary needs were easily accommodated from the menu and waitstaff knowledge of it. Overall, this is a high recommend for your time in Williamsburg. The pricing was also extremely fair for the food and experience.
Super delicious authentic taste- the pizza is outstanding!!! I haven't personally tried it (I'm gluten free) but my son and his father (from Brooklyn) gave it the stamp of approval. The large was huge and was actually folded over in the box a little. Friendly counter service-
A gorgeous waterfront café with locally made desserts and a tempting menu, perfect for a relaxing day at the park.

Beautiful café on the waterfront, fresh produce, locally made desserts (got the red velvet brownie.AMAZING , I love that there was options for gluten free And vegan! Staff was friendly and gave me a complimentary cup of water which was perfect on such a hot day, I did not come prepared, best part was the Sandwich Turkey and Brie for me, although my friends vegan chickpea wrap looked great, the cinnamon bread and Mayo made my sandwich one of the best I’ve ever had at a state/federal park!! My ticket is good for 7 days so I may come back for another turkey Brie and to try some macarons!
Met Glen, a patron and he said the billiards are fun and there are plenty of times to play with options for varying games: 9 ball, 8 ball, and straight pool. Met Lynn and she gave us the highlights: chef in house, they make their own recipes, and they have gluten free options; obtw, they will have vegetarian options soon! Check them out. Very convenient location.
Funky decor and a creative vibe make this spot a must-visit, with solid drinks and unique options to keep things interesting.

Amazing service and delicious coffee drinks. I was able to get some gluten free accommodations and the server and kitchen were incredibly kind about it. Highly recommend and will be back!
