The Detroit pizza with old and new world pepp was unbelievable! Zesty sauce but nothing that led to heartburn or bothered the kids. This is the best pizza i have ever had thats more deep dish in last 12 yrs since celiac! Super fun vibey place! And incredibly reasonable. Get 4 slices for gf and i coupd only eat 2 fyi. Got the gluten free crust for the Hawaiian with vegan chorizo. They clearly cooked it for the same amount of time as a regular pizza so the crust was quite burned, I was far too hungry to wait an additional twenty minutes for a remake. The pineapple bits were so tiny I couldn't really taste them. I've been wanting to come here for over a year now and I was so excited but the pizza was ultimately disappointing. However the bartenders were so wonderful, friendly and thorough.

Our family was in town for the week from AZ helping our daughter move in nearby. Both she & her dad are celiac so we tried the GF pizza. They both agreed it was one of the best they ever had. Buddy's is one of the few pizza places, in Detroit, which offers the full pizza menu as gluten free. What I like the absolute best, is I can customize my gluten free pizza anyway I wish from the original menu; and I do. Another great thing about Buddy's gluten free pizza is it taste great!! I ordered on doordash an half my order was completely messed up, I asked for garlic and pepperoni on a Detroit zoo pizza an got just a straight zoo pizza no garlic or pepperoni even though it was clearly on the list, further, there was, specifically, a gluten free pizza (which was clearly on the oder, GLUTEN FREE) cheese an mushroom pizza. We got a pizza that was , not gluten free, with a bunch of toppings, we didn't order, when I called about this, the lady was extremely unhelpful, an further lied to me, saying that the pepperoni was under the cheese. Which, it was not. Thanks buddies won't be ordering from u again!

Freezing cold when we first sat down but warmed up a little by the time we finished eating. According to my family the gluten free pizza was pretty good. The regular pizza was ok. If you love a butter crust, then this is the place for you. Regular pizza was loaded with butter. A little is ok, way too much for my liking. And the knives don't cut worth anything.

I emailed Supino about gluten free menu options and he responded very quickly! Mika did an OUTSTANDING job!!! My sister planned a surprise for us with our sister and husband visiting from Texas. Our table went from 4 to 8 people and Mika was efficient, patient, knowledgeable, kind and available. The pizza was Great and the Polenta was just like my mother used to make! Delicious!! By far the best gluten free pizza around! Deep dish gluten free is difficult to come by and this one takes the cake with amazing flavor and crisp on the crust. I had the pleasure of being one of the first to try this new addition to their menu. The staff is very attentive and fun. Such a great vibe! If you haven't visited, this is a must in Detroit!
