If you're in Columbia then you should stop to eat at Shakespeare pizza. I do once a year at least. 3 locations but my favorite is the south and off campus. I had a gluten free crust. Very good.
A go-to spot with unique toppings and tasty options for everyone, perfect for families looking to enjoy pizza together.

My daughter was in Columbia for a soccer trip. Her original stop was at Shakespeare Pizza. My daughter has celiac disease. Shakespeare pizza was not willing to wipe their counters off to make a clean pizza, for her. They let her know that they don't have time to accommodate her. Her and my husband headed over to Pizza tree. They couldn't have been more accommodating and she said the gluten free pizza was absolutely delicious! And she was symptom free! Highly recommend!
Lively and homey vibe makes for a perfect hangout spot, with cravings guaranteed after tasting the amazing pizza!

The staff promised me the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had and they definitely lived up to that promise. I would drive several hours to eat it— and am in fact craving it right now! The atmosphere is lively and homey, and I really enjoyed dining with my friends here.
I used the curbside delivery and it took quite a while before I got my food. I gave my name 3 times. That was not ideal but the staff were very friendly and their food is delicious. It is especially good considering they have gluten free options for special people like me.
