Enjoyed the both gluten free & vegan options. Most everything was well labeled and if not the chefs were so helpful. Salads, curries, patatas bravas, roasted veg, and numerous desserts to name a few of our favorites. It was great to have a buffet worth it for gf/vegans and non alike!

We were so lucky to rock up on the same night they were trialling their new menu. My partner is coeliac so seriously gluten free (not trendy gf) and our 21 month old baby is a happy playing toddler. We were asked if we wanted to sit near the Kid Zone, which of course we did. There were puzzles and blocks and cars for her to amuse herself with, and it looked like fancy computer games if you had older kids. We were well out of the way from the childless diners and therefore felt relaxed and comfortable from the get go. The menu was great, we first thought we'd just splurge on the two courses for $38, but after seeing the buffet dessert we felt the extra $5 was worth it. The entree and dessert are self service buffet, but it's really the mains that are the stand outs! We ordered the barramundi at the waiters (Jayesh - a really great waiter) recommendation, and the kangaroo- both (we share our dishes) were superbly cooked and divinely sauced (if that is a word?); and were able to be made gluten free. We also bought some sparkling wine, which wasn't cheap, but for prices up here, wasn't bank breaking either. We also had great attentive service from Toby and Logan. Toby especially made a point of looking after the kid zone even though we had promised to tidy our small hurricanes block mess. Lastly, the chefs (Haylee and Tom, I believe; I asked Toby to jot down everyone's name) were fabulous at accommodating to our gluten free diets, so much so, that when I asked about what dessert was gf for my partner, (even though there was a few more basic options) they bought out a special gf dessert they had left over from somewhere... Obviously that may not be common practice. All in all, the bill was a splurge, but it was not ridiculous. And it was definitely worth it... How often are you going to find a fancy, fresh, family friendly, and great service restaurant, minutes after watching the most incredible sunset over Uluru? Thank you everyone (even those not personally mentioned) for a great night! - from Jess, Clio & bubba A-T

My experience with this take away place is definitely different to what I read in previous reviews. I had the fried rice with tofu (which is gluten free and vegetarian) and I liked it. It was also enough for dinner. We arrived at around 19:00 and waited 30 min for two dishes which I think is fine given the size of the restaurant. Oh and there was tofu in the dish!

A dog-friendly spot with chill vibes, but expect confusing policies that can dampen the experience, especially if you're bringing a furry friend.

The food was good and except for the pasta salad gluten free, the bar had nonalcoholic beer and wine which was great too. BUT our whole experience was ruined because Reception at the campground (which is dog friendly) told us we could bring our dog with us for dinner to this pub. However, when I politely asked the staff upon arrival where we could sit with our dog to have dinner I got the most unpleasant, unfriendly response that dogs were not allowed and we should read the sign with the rules ( in the middle of the restaurant where we were not allowed. I mentioned that reception sent us and asked if we should go away. Again a rude response and when I turned the staff member said, well you can site at the table in the far corner, we went there to be told by yet another staff member that we could not sit there. Turns out we could sit at the table and chairs outside the restaurant where the people wait for the bus. We did sit there and got our drinks and food and ate in the sigarette smoke of the other unfavourite guests. We spoke to other people with a dog who ate at the uncovered tables close to the BBQs but we were not allowed to sit there. This pub should have a look at the brewery in Alice Springs for example where they allow dogs in the beer garden. Just a few more dig friendly tables is not that hard to set up. And it is even easier to be friendly and say unfortunately you can't sit under the roof but we have a couple of tables you can use, apologies for the terrible location, this is all we have.

We stopped here for dessert after the Field of Light experience. The staff were unsure if we could dine just for dessert which was a bit frustrating. Surely that's not an issue? We got the one gluten free dessert item on the menu, the chocolate Rosella. It was really lovely and we were happy to share it. The menu outside the restaurant clearly marks what is gluten free (most of it is) which is great given it's one of the more high end venues at Yulara.

The sound of silence was better than expected. The food was great (albeit buffet style) and the service even better. The star talk was my favourite part. They turn the lights off and you can suddenly see everything. I recommend going on, or either side of a near new moon. The talker was so detailed about the different stars and planets you can see and they were easy to understand. With a light touch of Aboriginal culture. They catered for Gluten Free very well with plenty of options at the buffet. We were sitting at a table with 8 other people, so it's unlikely you will have a table to yourself unless you are coming as a group. Before the sun sets, you can see Uluru and Kata Tjuta from your seat.
