I went here today with my son for the first time. The atmosphere was so good. The food was much better then I expected it to be. Service was quick and good. They had kids chopsticks and lots of gluten-free options.

I can't believe I haven't posted a review yet for our favourite breakfast spot! Copper Spoons is everything you would want in a breakfast restaurant. It's cozy, but full of regulars and fun banter, the service is fantastic and the food is amazing and so affordable. The owner is always there and always remembers our order, even though we don't get the opportunity to go that often. I recently made the switch to gluten free/dairy free and was thrilled that CS could not only accommodate my diet, but serve the best GF bread I've ever had. There is a reason there is always a lineup out to the street. I guarantee it's worth the wait!

This is the best boardgame cafe I've ever been to! I've wanted to go to boardwalk since they opened but I'm not from the area so I haven't been able to make it before now. It was so worth the wait!
They have a great variety of games in their library. They organize them with colored stickers so you can find a game that will fit your group size, difficulty, and age group needs. It's perfect for people who may want to try an expensive game before spending the money on it. The employees are super knowledgeable about the games and can give tips and recommendations if you need any help. The cafe is well lit so it's the perfect place to play. There was a boardgame pub in my old town that had low lightning to give it more of a nightlife vibe, but you couldn't see the games very well; so this was a pleasant surprise.
The menu variety is phenomenal. They have vegan and gluten free options. The thing that stuck out the most to me was that you can substitute gluten free bread for your sandwich for NO EXTRA COST! I've never seen a menu that treats people with dietary restrictions like humans. Also, the cookies are made to order and they definitely live up to the hype!
I will absolutely be back and I can't wait to try more games!

Our server Micheal was fabulous with rushing the kids meals to help keep them settled. he paid attention to specific order changes (celiac) and was prompt with drinks and checking in frequently.

My boyfriend and I love Friday date night at Capra Toro Peterborough.
The food is fantastic and the ambiance is energetic, and fun.
The service is impeccable and the staff is attentive and friendly.
The only negative I could possibly say is the pizza crust could be more authentic. My boyfriend said it was dry and seemed store bought quality.
On the plus side, there are lots of gluten free options for those of us with an allergy, which is such a welcome pleasure.
We are diners for life. 💕

My friend raved about “The Pin” for months! I finally got the opportunity to eat here tonight. I started off with the Caesar salad. The bacon jam was mind blowing! Complemented the flavours of the salad perfectly. There were so many layers of flavour adding so many dimensions and putting a modern spin on an old classic. The steak with red wine butter, roasted veg and potatoes was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Once again, there was perfectly layered flavours that made my taste buds jump for joy. It ranks up there with some of the best steaks I have ever had! I finished with a cheesecake (gluten free) that was the perfect way to finish this meal. My friends had the duck Wellington and stuffed chicken. Everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. Our server was very friendly, personable and very attentive. He made our dining experience delightful! If you are looking for a wonderful evening out and awesome food I highly recommend the pin!

Apollo Grill have the best hamburgers I have ever had! The hamburgers are made from steak. I took a Hawaiian burger to my dad, and he loved it. He said he hasn't had such a great burger in a long time! The toppings like sautéed mushrooms or onions and fresh guacamole are mouth watering. They have gluten free buns too. Extremely clean restaurants. Take out only until further notice. Two locations in Peterborough. Friendly staff and Locally owned and operated. They have won best burger a few times! Love the 50's theme too, and music, so classic.

It was such a good atmosphere, my friend and I went and had some awesome food. When we asked the waitress if something was gluten free, she brought us a gluten free menu! OMG OMG OMG, finally a restaurant that has creative delicious food. We need this so bad in Peterbourough. We are diary and gluten free and ordered the grilled greens and Ancient Grain Bowl with brussel sprouts appetizer, which all blew my mind and mouth with flavours, new tastes, and yumminess with simple ingredients. Grateful that The EL restaurant from Cobourg opened here in Peterbourough. I highly recommend you check this restaurant out sooner than later. We did take out this time but look forward to dining in as there ambiance was so eclectic and colourful. What are you waiting for, go check it out.

We inquired about gluten & dairy free and we were assured that our order was compliant.
I was there this past Friday and I was really impressed with the effort that was put in. As soon as I said I was Gluten Free and even though the gentleman that made my sub hadn't touched anything with gluten he changed his gloves right away and got a new paper to make my sub. I was really impressed and really appreciated it.

I've been going to this Swiss Chalet for years but it's recently gone downhill which is why I've only rated it as 3/5. The service has been horrible the last 2 or 3 times we've visited. Waitresses have too many tables and as a result, they can't provide efficient and adequate service. The roast beef is gone from the menu which is disappointing and the prices have really gone up. Staple dishes are still super yummy like their fries and chalet sauce. It's a great place to eat if you're gluten free but there is very limited selection for vegetarians. We may stop visiting this location all together if the service doesn't improve.
