Restaurant a stone's throw from the Duomo.
My wife and I spent a Florentine weekend to appreciate the culture that splendid Florence has to offer. We had lunch and dinner at Lo Scudo, in the hope that they would offer gluten free alternatives. My wife, who is celiac, ate an excellent pasta with wild boar ragù and some delicious strips of lemon chicken with spinach and roasted potatoes. The staff was attentive both in taking orders and in delivering what was requested, with due care.
So thank you and see you next time!
Experience a memorable culinary adventure with fresh pasta, complimentary bubbly, and a vibrant atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back for more.

The best food of the entire trip Venice, Florence, Rome.
The truffle pasta is worth the price. They also have many gluten-free options although we didn't see it in the comments and thought there weren't any, when we arrived we saw the seal and the waiters were very kind explaining everything to us. Super recommended.
They gave us proseco while waiting in line outside and they gave us a snack when we sat down.
A 10.
An intimate and stylish spot in Florence, offering a cozy vibe with revisited Tuscan flavors and a lovely ambiance.

I can't give less than 5 stars to this restaurant! My girlfriend and I were really satisfied with the experience we had here.
The place is small, but it is very well furnished and is super welcoming. The staff was very kind and friendly.
The food was really excellent and gluten-free options are also available for those with celiac disease like me.
In conclusion, a highly recommended place!
Experience a stunning atmosphere with beautiful decor, perfect for a romantic night, and don’t miss the incredible carpaccio.

I'll start with the positive - beautiful interior. But the food is just terrible. There is no wine by the glass, only prosecco. We ordered mussels in white wine, onion soup, and gluten free pasta.
Firstly, it took a very long time to carry the food. The waiter said it was because we ordered gluten free. But when the food came out, the gluten-free pasta came out first. Everything else was still waiting. The mussels had a strange taste, clearly not fresh. The onion soup is completely unsalted, the onions are uncooked. The pasta was also unsalted. In general, we left hungry!
The food is not worth the money and I would never return here and do not advise anyone to visit this restaurant. Complete disappointment.
Great experience from Vitique. We ate very well (chose 5-course tasting course) and the wine pairing was much appreciated. After all, we are talking about the restaurant of a well-known Italian wine group.
Very good service, which I always consider essential almost like the food, and the chef's attention to my allergy (to gluten).
Advised!

An unusual place as inside you will also find a clothing shop, but everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail; you can only get lost in its peculiarity! Very professional and cheerful welcome (despite the masks).
In addition to the two internal rooms it has a small outdoor area; wooden tables style reuse of materials (ecofriendly), menu viewable via whatsapp message.
Limited menu; three starters, three first courses, three second courses of meat and fish and three desserts, but one more particular than the other and the quality of the raw materials EXCELLENT!
This time he chose a fish main course, but I'll be back to try the meat!!!
"Gluten-free" options possible, if you mention it when booking the table they can guarantee you many more specific products.
Recommended, I would say yes!
