Awesome venue that has a wide selection of gluten-free food choices on their menu. We were greeted warmly on our arrival and shown to our table. Service was prompt and highly efficient with regular checks to see that all was in order. The food was well presented and really tasty. We will definitely return
Staff are excellent but how many will be kicked out by the Home Office, or just choose to work in the EU after Brexit? They all love working at the group Hotels.
FOOD is plentiful and half board half price deals are really great value with help yourself brekkies and top rate evening menus. The roads to two sides of the hotel are busy and noisy but ok after 11 pm ish. Great Jersey Bus service stops just outside; 3 choices to town and £2 tap card per any journey. £30 for a seven days unlimited journeys Pass. Xlnt value. Small pool, jacuzzi and very hot steam room OK. Gym is just a bike , rower, Cross Trainer, tiny bench and a few weights; hardly going to become an athlete in this one ☺ Most guests seem to be retired/older folk but I am writing this in early October. Jersey is great with loads to do BUT beware that the ferry link often gets cancelled from Poole if the sea is rough. Airport is a 30 minute bus ride at £2.00 to the Bus Station in St Helier; 20 minute walk from town to/from The Monterey. If you want a good Hotel without fancy trimmings, this is fine. Oh yes, as I have Coeliac Disease I was impressed at the efforts of the staff to ensure I would be OK. Would I return here? Yup! Have ordered next year's Brochure for Premier Holidays already.☺
Very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Very happy with the room. The pool and spa were great to relax in after a busy day. Restaurant catered for coeliacs well.
Lovely pub and restaurant. ...we were met with a very friendly welcome and were treated well all through our meals. Eaten here last 2 days, once in the pub downstairs and once in the restaurant upstairs. One member of our party is gluten intolerant and she was looked after well and the advice was very useful. Food excellent, can't wait to eat here again on Thursday. .....will return again and again
We had an amazing time at this wonderful hotel for 7 days, and we are looking to go back next year. The location is fantastic with fabulous views of St Aubins Bay. The staff were so welcoming and helpful that they made our first visit to Jersey a great experience. The room was superb, and the standard of housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful, and the choice was spectacular, especially as I am gluten-free. I still had lots of options that were clearly identified, and the staff were well informed and extremely helpful. The garden and outside areas were immaculate, and it complemented the view perfectly. It is very well located for buses around the Island. A very enjoyable stay couldn't recommend it more brilliant job Team at the Cristina.
This hotel and staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are better than any hotel I’ve ever been in, quite literally amazing. Thank you to Sara, Aina (breakfast supervisor may not have the right name) and Charlotte at reception who was superb. Carlos too who always on hand to help.
Sara made our room perfectly clean and always filled up and I was amazed to find gluten free shortcake in my room after they found I was gluten free. Never have I been given gluten free biscuits in my room.
I am already organising the return journey.
Excellent food and lovely friendly service. A nice bit of vegetarian and gluten-free choice on the menu. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked and smelled divine. There was also a two-piece Latin Jazz band to add to the wonderful atmosphere!
