We had to wait ages to be seated. It was clear right at the door, that they were understaffed, but we proceeded as we had a table booked and were all very hungry. We were seated and sat in waiting for food almost an hour, surrounded by uncleared table with unwashed dishes. The waiters were lovely, but two of them just not enough to cover that floor. I can imagine, there were only one person cooking, as the food came out very slow. The gluten free pasta was way undercooked, which we didn't mention at the time as the waiters had enough on their plate and to be fair by the time we got the dinner, I was famished. Kids didn't want dessert as they just wanted to go home after long waiting times for the courses and as we know kids, when do they ever want to skip dessert?! Last year we had the same experience, we would have thought things change, but sadly not. I guess there are some serious management issues at that place.
A cozy spot with a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for celebrations, where desserts can even come with a sweet surprise message.

My husband brought me here for my birthday meal. Our first visit here and certainly won't be our last. All my three courses were absolutely delicious and a lovely little touch was "happy birthday"being scrolled in chocolate across the dessert plate alongside the lemon posset. My husband is coeliac and was quite impressed with the gluten free ribs. Very friendly staff and lovely surroundings. Only one slight snag was that it was quite noisy-there was a hen party going on.
In a beautiful setting, this spot offers an amazing variety of dishes, perfect for a relaxing break while shopping in Burton.

Eaten here quite a few times while out shopping in Burton.
It's a lovely place to have break and enjoy some excellent food, the tapas is amazing, I think we've nearly worked our way through all the dishes.
The service is always superb and there are plenty of gluten free options.

We love this place. It looks great inside and out. Someone may think that the cleanliness is not perfect like everyone else's home😉 ....... But the customer attitude is not likely to leave you indifferent. Super friendly staff, they always try to do their best to keep you happy here. Among the pizzas I probably like the Catalana the best, also the red fish wrap is delicious . The kid loves (sweet potato) fries. And how to do without ice cream 😂. It's nice that many of the dishes can be ordered with a gluten free option. Waiting for warm weather to sit in the cozy courtyard.
A cozy spot with a welcoming vibe, perfect for a personalized experience and fresh breakfast options.

The young lady that served us was lovely. She ensured that the correct information was given to me for a gluten free breakfast, which was freshly cooked.
I would like to see more gluten free included within your menus as it is very limited . That’s said I enjoyed my breakfast .
Excellent food and amazing service, highly recommended! Can adapt many meals for food allergies, I was very impressed with the gluten free options. Lovely selection of wines too.
A perfect pitstop with a massive breakfast sandwich and delightful brunch options, just a stone's throw from the Peak District!

Visited en-route to the Peak District for some brunch and Poms did not disappoint. Between us we had the breakfast sandwich (huge!) and the gluten free full English. Both meals tasted lovely and the service was spot on too. It does seem to get quite busy so worthwhile booking in advance if you can!
Room choices vary in quality, but with helpful staff and a solid dining option, it’s a cozy spot for a relaxing stay.

Had to ask for a room change as the first one had a smell which we think was faulty air con. Other room was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Good Beefeater restaurant and better now that they have a gluten free menu.
Perfect spot for a cozy Sunday dinner, combining efficiency with top-notch meals in a warm atmosphere.

Eaten at the Foresters lots of times, it's our go-to for Sunday dinner.
The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is always top notch.
We have gluten and dairy intolerances and they deal with it perfectly.
