We called in to the Burrendale today for late lunch I am gluten and dairy free and i find it difficult getting food that is suitable for me especially fish and chips with gluten-free batter,so when I asked the lovely lady who served us was there any chance they could do gluten-free fish and chips she said yes and the chef even done me dairy free tartar sauce ,my husband also had the fish and chips and me both said it's a long time since we tested fish that melted in your mouth and the batter was lovely and crispy the two ladies who served us was so helpful friendly and professional we didn't get the first ladies name because she went off duty the second lady who finished our order was called Pauline .. thank you both for the lovely service and compliments to the chef👨‍🍳

Expect a cozy vibe with delicious hot drinks and a unique soup of the day, but be prepared for stairs if mobility is a concern.

Everything about this place is positive. The only issue is there toilet in upstairs and not suitable for those who may suffer with mobility problems. They even accommodate my dietary requirements, dairy free milk available, and gluten-free bread. Soup of the day depends on the soup........
