I've been in Hospitality for over 25 years. I can say we were welcomed professionaly and with a smile as we entered we did booked a table in advance knowing a table of 8 just turning up can be troublesome. But the greeting was friendly and took us to our table. I guess service is different to what I know (table service) but this is modern era, So we could either order at the bar or order online. The QR code app was easy and clear with option to add or to take away from your meal. The drinks come quick and what was good as I was paying for my family my brother in law paying for his and my other brother in law paying for his therfore 3 different orders at different times but the kitchen noticed and all the food come together. 5*
The menu was good interesting with Vegan / Gluten free menu separate I thought a nice touch as didn't need to stroll through the menu looking for what's what.
Food was tasty, nicely presented. The atmosphere was nice, with nice music in the back ground really modern quirky decor and if you got kids pens and colouring in menus.
The one and only draw back was when ordering on the app it asked when paying do you want to give a tip which I always do but some people might think to give a tip before they had the service might be off putting.
Definitely will be back. Really good experience we'll done all.

I love Zizzi. Being both gluten and dairy intolerant it is one of the few places where I get a choice on the menu. Instead of having to settle for the single vegan option at most restaurants. Thank you.

Went for dinner with friends on a Friday night, first visit.
First impression was good, place nicely decorated and was very busy.
Lovely drinks and good selection of non alcoholic drinks for designated drives.
Starts we shared
-CORNISH CRAB & PARMESAN ARANCINI, which were okay but we found bacon in the garnish which was not stated on the menu (my husband is Pescatarian so this was not okay)
-KOREAN FRIED CAULIFLOWER which was tasty with the dip was nice but was very soft and was mostly batter very little cauliflower.
-TEMPURA BATTERED SQUID, not bad at all and dip was tasty, good amount of garlic
For mains I had STICKY CHINESE SPICED BELLY PORK (see photo). This meal came out only just warm. One piece of pork was lovely and soft, the other was terribly dry and tough.
The rice was terrible and horrible - I could not identify a gain of rice. It was very mushy and compacted and cold. I did complain about this but was just told that’s how egg fried rice is!
SALTED CARAMEL CRÈME BRÛLÉE
with caramelised banana, banoffee puree, caramel brandy snap and banana crumb
Crème brûlée was nicely set and a good crunchy sugar layer on top- but could not identify a trace of salted Carmel. Banana weren’t caramelised but just dry banana slices. Banoffee “purée” was just a sauce, which was nice but very little present on the plate.
Brandt snap had no snap and was very soft.
My friends and husband and similar experiences with their dish’s.
One positive was that there was a good selection for gluten free.
Over all not a good experience and we’re we’re not impressed. Will not be visiting again.
Very over priced for quality of food.

I always try and give fair reviews and this is a bit of a mixed one. This was the first time me and my friends had been here and the general look and atmosphere of the restaurant wasn't the best, unfortunately. The staff were lovely and friendly and they had a gluten free menu which was great for my friend who is Coeliac. The food was actually really good and I had probably the best yuk sung and salt n pepper chips I have ever eaten. The portions were good but the prices were all different from the menu to what was then noted on our receipt (most things had gone up by £1). When paying, we noticed the area behind the counter was really messy and covered rubbish and clutter, which made the place look dirty. Will I come back again? Yes! Just for the fact they had a gf menu and the food made up for the look and feel of the restaurant.
