Great place for breakfast. Quite busy but thats good I guess. We were advised there would be a 20 minute wait for our food. Good choice of food available. Gluten Free offering was good. I had beans on toast on GF bread, good size portion. Hubby had Waterfront Breakfast.. he's fussy about brekki but said it was excellent, even the sausage was good, thats praise. Reasonable price £22 for our bill. Great place to watch the world go by on the Thames. Plenty of tables. Will return.
Went for the Sunday roast, we had the beef and the lamb with chocolate blackberry marquise and caramel tart. The atmosphere here is always so lovely and warm, plenty of seating, wheelchair accessible paths, and most importantly (for me), gluten free options. I have celiac disease and aside from the caramel tart and Yorkshire pudding, everything else on the menu was either gluten free or with a gluten free alternative. They even said they've been trying to work on making a gluten free Yorkshire pudding. The hostess brought out my meal for me to ensure everything remained free of gluten, and the food itself was amazing. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent price. Definitely find a way to go.
Always a great choice. I have celiac disease and nearly everything is gluten free (aside from the bread and the fish and chips). Delicious food, high quality and fresh ingredients, and eccentric, bright atmosphere. Definitely find your way here. They even upgraded my partners prawns to tiger prawns for free. We had the fried cockles, cataplana platter, and fried softshell crab.
