We were visiting Welshpool to meet up with family and came across the Raven Inn online a few days before coming. The website homepage is very dog friendly and then we were surprised at how many items were Gluten Free for one of our party.
We had a corner table by the fireplace which suited us with the dog
The menu was delicious, the desserts were yummy and even the dog had a menu too.
The bar staff were friendly, one of the younger waiters was clearly new to the job as he took some plates away whilst others were eating and didn’t really engage with us.
However we were really impressed and we will be back to this great establishment.

Had a lovely meal here at the beginning of July.
Had a fry up but swapped the sausages for bacon and the bread for gluten free. It was yummy.

A really lovely place with well cooked food. Menu shows vegan/veggie/ gluten free etc and I had my coffee with soya milk. The coffee cups are normal size and I prefer large,but maybe they do mugs on request, I'll ask next time. Staff is really pleasant and it's very covid secure.

Great valentines day meal here! Considering the night the service was incredible! We had a starter and a main each and the portions were that generous we simply couldn't manage a pudding despite the menu looking amazing! Mentioned to the staff that I needed gluten free options and they were happy to adapt anything on the menu! It was so nice to have such choice! Will definitely return!
