I love this place! I have a severe gluten allergy. I have never been sick from this place. They are not a gluten free kitchen but they try their best to make sure my food is safe. Everyone is amazing!
This deli's welcoming, classic LA atmosphere and large dining room buzzing with happy chatter create a true sense of community. The impressive vaulted ceiling and high architecture add charm, making it a comfortable spot for those seeking a gluten-free friendly environment with attentive service.

They have Gluten Free bread!
Healthy portion sizes, excellent cole slaw. The cinnamon bread french toast was better than most.
This was our first time, stopping in, but we'll definitely be back.
This spot offers a secluded feel with a large, park-like side patio and enclosed porch ideal for groups. The inside channels an old-school soda fountain vibe, creating a nostalgic and welcoming atmosphere. They provide gluten-free options like salads and lettuce wraps, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for gluten-sensitive guests.

I'm glad to see that The Stand has updated it's menu options over the years. And they have a gluten free bun.

Mom v World
Went for lunch on a Sunday, and it was very crowded, which isn’t a dealbreaker in itself, obviously. It’s extremely loud inside, to the point you can’t hear the person sitting across from you. The lights kept going off. Our waitress was very nice but all of our food was cold by the time it got to our table (25 minutes).
We chose this restaurant because it came up in a search for gluten-free options and had good reviews. There are exactly 2 items on the menu that are marked gluten-free: a waffle or pancake, with strawberries and blueberries. There are very few vegetarian options, and nothing vegan except oatmeal (although the waitress did say the gluten-free waffle is vegan because they mix it with water). The menu doesn’t have any allergy notations.
I ordered the lox eggs Benedict without bread (I eat eggs Benedict semi regularly without any problems). As I mentioned, it was cold. I don’t know if the lox was bad or there’s flour in the hollandaise or potatoes(there shouldn’t be), but less than two hours later and I’m sick. I won’t go into details but definitely leaning towards mild food poisoning or an allergic reaction.
So long story short, if you have any sort of dietary restrictions, this is probably not the place for you.
