I usually post a photo with my reviews but in this case I ate the pizza so fast because it was phenomenal! I did the gluten free version which was absolutely above any expectations I had. Most pizza shops use a frozen gluten free crust but at The Ria it is hand made. Can't wait to go back!

I was a regular some time ago at this BJ's location and recently revisited with my east coast boyfriend to show him the famous pizookie(or as he calls it "pazonka" lol)!!
We were very pleased with the attention and care from our server Aprill *with two LL's ;)* She was extremely patient with my indecisiveness and was very helpful with finding the right substitutions for a fellow veg-head!! I ordered the peanut soby noodles with NO chicken ;) and Joe was definitely satisfied with the gluten free bbq chicken-less pizza!! Service has for sure taken a turn for the better since I was last here! It looks like their management must've stepped up their game! Great job BJ's on Beach n Edinger!! :P

My company went here for our staff holiday lunch & gift exchange and everything was perfectly executed by Nardo. Food was amazingly fast and tasted even better and staff was friendly and efficient We have 3 gluten free people on our team and both GF pizza and pastas were very good. The Brussels are to die for!

Friendly owner. Everything here is vegan. They have lots of dishes and gluten free options. I had the gluten free ramen and the noodles were good and the soup was good. My friend had the kobe bbq bowl and he said it was good. The "meat" is soy based. The strawberry ice cream was great as well.
My favorite is the flattened chicken skewer dinner! The chicken is so tender and flavorful. I have to eat gluten free, and there are several delicious options for me at this restaurant.

Artichokes are enough for appetizer for 4 of us. Delicious!! Great server (Rhe). I'm gluten free and had many options. They give you a gluten free menu. No guessing. If go back to this place in a heartbeat. My aunt took us there. She and her friends frequent the restaurant. Prices are good. Food is so delicious
A great addition to the neighborhood. Their menu is Peruvian inspired with very simple yet tasty dishes.
I contacted the owner ahead of time to learn about their gluten free options and his response was very quick and helpful.
Their rotisserie chicken was moist and cooked perfectly but the charbroiled chicken was much more flavorful, their fries and yuca fries were crisped to perfection. It was my first time trying Peruvian giant corn and I really enjoyed it. We’ll be ordering from there often.

If you've gotta eat gluten free, this is the spot. Best gf bread, hands down I've had. Even get sub roll and not dry and soulless slices. Thought I was tricked but it was GF. I had the Malibu... Super good.
Love their food and coffee! Husband loves the breakfast bowls and I love their vegetarian sandwiches. Gluten free bread is good too! Veggies bahn mi =bomb if you like brussel sprouts. The Farmers market sandwich is even better if you sub goat cheese for the cream cheese. Only downside is they turned us away once because they were closing in 15-20 minutes (really?) which seems like a bad business call for me as it left us frustrated since we came down there specifically to eat there. So we avoided it for a while but now we're back.
Wonderful healthy food options... Sandwiches (on organic Dave's Bread or gluten free on Canyon 7 Grain bread), salads, smoothies, etc. Best place to go for high quality lunch!

The newly opened concession has homemade, gluten free pizza with fresh ingredients, never FROZEN! Absolutely DELICIOUS! A must try!! Claudia and Christy also serve salads and the general store has beer and wine for purchase. And don’t get me started on the ambiance-it’s right on the beach!! A great way to enjoy a summer day!! Good food, great friends and plenty of surf and sun in HB!!

Sugar Shack Cafe is just outstanding! First of all, I called a few weeks before our visit to Huntington Beach to find out about gluten-free or gluten-friendly options and they were very helpful. When we finally did visit, our first visit was excellent and our second visit was even better! It was pretty busy yesterday and our server, Julia, handled it smoothly and was very friendly and helpful, an excellent server. This morning we had the pleasure of being served by (I think the owner/manager Ryan), who was warm and welcoming and friendly. Really made us feel comfortable. And his wife (I don’t think we got her name, sadly) took over service this morning and she was awesome, too. Very friendly, welcoming, and great with the coffee refills and everything else.
The food was EXCELLENT. I know, you might be thinking how excited can you get about breakfast, but it was great. Coffee was delicious, bacon was crispy, eggs were fluffy, hash browns were particularly good - crispy, not the least bit greasy, just great! And the eggs Benedict (day two, this morning) were out of this world! First of all, I’ve almost never had an eggs Benedict dish come out hot, in any restaurant, ever, but here it came out hot! And the Hollandaise was great, not too lemony, smooth as silk; the ham was tasty, too! Nice English muffin too. Just the perfect eggs Benedict.
PLUS - and a BIG plus for my wife and me - it’s open at 6 AM! And I love the ambiance with the surf photos on the walls, and it’s small but comfortable inside. And you CAN eat outside if you want.
To me, this is the exact kind of breakfast experience you want, and I’m happy to support this business and highly recommend it to others!

We dine here at least once a a month with my family. Every time we come, they cater wonderfully to our vegan and gluten free preferences. We usually get the vegan Pad Thai, the eggplant, tomcat soup and fried rice, all gluten-free and vegan with tofu options. I apologize for my spelling and some of the words.
As someone who has to be gluten-free, I really appreciated the super-detailed menu they provided, with all allergens in each item. The food was good too, so I plan to be back!
Love Firehouse and so glad there is one now open near me. Been to this location a few times already and will definitely be coming back. Sandwiches are always fresh. If you are in a rush I suggest ordering online and they have a kiosk you can pick your order up from. Bonus- they also offer gluten free bread

This place makes it hard to make reservations- but you definitely can by signing up online on their website. It’s a good idea to do so because it’s always busy here. My family has birthday celebrations and get togethers at the Cheesecake Factory, and there are lots of options for food- and gluten free items as well.
