So thankful for gluten free items. I was so excited for fried shrimp and fried green tomatoes. I have to say they really need to use some seasoning. It was pretty much flavorless. But the remoulade was good an added something.. Shrimp and grits were also lacking in flavor. My suggestion to the restaurant would be don’t be afraid to spice it up.
Oh dear. From outside, appears to be a very hip and with it addition to the B.R. restaurant scene as nurtured by the Perkins overpass locus. Interior reads of much the same, as though the quirky bric-a- brac interior design merchants of simulated culture eateries have cracked the hipster aesthetic a decade or two after the peak. Waitstaff with a knit beanie, another with a ever-so- carefully curled mustache; adorable.
The menu is full of vegetarian and vegan and gluten free selections because OF COURSE IT IS. Words like "rustic" have been press- ganged into service for bread that is extremely not.
I challenge new venues in southeastern Louisiana if they have the gusto to put something like shrimp creole on the menu. In this case, I led with some crab cakes. The side salad was the big winner of that course. The crab cakes were okay. Could have been more crab intensive for appetizer pricing. The shrimp creole had shrimp in it. I do not dispute that. But the creole was muted or missing entirely. It is possible that my expectations have been skewed by offerings by friends and family, but I feel confident in saying only the most timid or naive palate will endorse this dish completely. In all fairness, the green peas as a side were expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. A big plus for vegetables treated with respect. A great big star arrived to bump up the score here: the chocolate chunk cookie for a finisher was entirely legit. Definitely take a chance on a dessert if one strikes your fancy.
Service was good. Interior ambiance is very improvisational restaurant furniture. The intentional lack of effort screams as loudly as possible: "We're a very hip and laid back eatery! We are a playful venue!" But the casual cool feels carefully posed.
We visited on a Wednesday around early dinner time and I earnestly hope the sincere mediocre white guy with an acoustic guitar singing bloodless simulations of decades- old moderate rock was a one- time thing and the management recognizes their mistake and cancels that unnecessary intrusion that only distracts and detracts from what pleasantness there is to be had.
I'm definitely up for another run at their menu in a few weeks or so. I suspect there are more gems to be found.
Enjoy a delightful dining experience with exceptional service that makes every visit feel like a breeze.

Brace yourself for a bustling vibe filled with all-you-can-eat sushi excitement, but be ready for potential wait times during peak hours.

Definitely was a really good experience. Sushi was good. The server was amazing. They really honored my gluten intolerance and I felt safe. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars was because the fried rice and the teriyaki wasn't the best. But the restaurant is fully worth a visit
Awesome food, fantastic service, and they also have a gluten free menu! The best steak I’ve had in Baton Rouge :)
Ps the goat cheese grits are to die for!
Absolutely love this place! They have gluten free options and their salad bar is always fresh. Staff is nice and the tables are usually clean. I'm always here or having someone bring me something.
With delicious alternative crusts and quick service, this spot has something for everyone, making it a must-visit for pizza lovers!

Came two days in a row! That’s how good this pizza is! For people on special diets like keto or low carb, of gluten sensitivity this place really has options for everything. The pizza in the pictures are cauliflower crust and they taste just like regular pizza! Customer service is great and pizza comes out extremely fast
they also have dairy free options!
The backyard is a fantastic spot for events, offering great support and a cozy vibe that's perfect for gatherings.

It was a very pleasant experience to eat here. Even though it's BBQ it had different flavors than I expected . The food was good. They had plenty of gluten free options.
Nino's was amazing ! Great ambiance, perfect spot for a romantic date night. The gnocchi was delicious and we opted for gluten-free noodle pasta for dietary sensitivities. It was so flavorful and much appreciated that there was a GF option for the pasta. Will definitely be returning !
Work luncheon went off without a hitch at Superior Grill on Government. I got lunch fajitas. Love the grilled meat and veggies. Can skip the flour tortillas if gluten- free or get corn tortillas instead.
We had a wonderful experience here. The food was great! My niece liked the vegan burger, they had gluten free for me and my aunt has a onion allergy and we were all accommodated. The staff was awesome and friendly. The drinks are amazing and pretty. I will return
Experience a delightful atmosphere with a focus on expertly seasoned dishes and attentive service that enhances your visit.

My husband and I had dinner and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the rotisserie chicken with house rub and the corn grits. Kennedy was our server and she was wonderful. I have a gluten allergy and she was very knowledgeable about my options and accommodating to my questions. She was friendly, kind, communicative, timely, and efficient. An overall pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. Thank you Kennedy!!
Alex was the best server ever! She knew how to modify items to ensure that not only were my gluten free needs met, but that we had the best food on the menu!
The food was outstanding!
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with mouthwatering enchiladas and standout chimichangas that truly capture the essence of Tex-Mex flavors!

Food was great!! Cory helped us and he made sure i was gluten safe.
Im celiac and had a trio of enchiladas (cheese, chicken, and beef). The chicken was amazing! It was well seasoned and moist.
My husband (not celiac) had the shrimp and crawfish chimichanga. He said it was one of the best ones he's had.
We're from Texas, so Mexican food has a place in my heart. Azteca's brings it! Great atmosphere, too!!
Great home cooked meals with generous portions that should satisfy any gluten. The prices are fair, especially for the amount of food given. But make sure you bring CASH because that is ALL they accept.
Absolutely delicious gluten free pizza right in downtown baton rouge. It's almost like we're a real city, y'all! Also super nice people, but that's just lagniappe.
Lovely place to eat! Delicious & lengthy menu choices...something for everyone. Vegetarian & gluten free options. Very generous portions. If you want authentic Vietnamese cuisine, here it is!

With three levels of gaming bays and a tech-savvy crew ready to help, it’s a fun spot, though the elevators could use some attention.

Lots of fun. Great games. The staff is super helpful with the technology of the game set up if you have any questions. Bathrooms are super clean. There are 3 levels of bays to play. The food is super yummy and reasonably priced. A side item may cost $4-6. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten friendly items available.
Beware of elevators, they smelled HORRIFIC. Idk if someone used it as a restroom at one point, but it smells bad!!!! The smell on the elevator is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.
Experience a delightful brunch with unique offerings like sweet potato pancakes and crab dumplings, perfect for a satisfying meal out!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Portabello’s Grill today! Our friendly and knowledgeable server, Rebekah, recommended several yummy dishes to try from Portabello’s new brunch menu!! Two of us tried the sweet potato pancakes with orange butter and candied pecans (absolutely delicious), one of us tried the shrimp and grits which she liked, and the last person with a gluten allergy was accommodated with a gluten free veal parmigiana and fingerling potatoes (he ate it all)!! We also shared the crab dumplings with a white corn sauce which were amazing!! Leftovers were boxed up and taken home to be consumed later!! Thank you to the manager who came over to help us with our gluten free diner (sorry I did not catch her name), the kitchen staff who cooked the delicious meal, and Rebekah who provided us with great service!! Well done!!
A charming spot with delicious surprises that will definitely be a go-to for future visits, perfect for a fun lunch break.

We are traveling on a girl trip and wanted to try something new for lunch. This lovely little place was a wonderful surprise. I am gluten-free (not Celiac) and rarely get to enjoy a sandwich. My Roasted pork stuffed Arepas was a delight. And my sister-in-law really enjoyed her, Roasted Pork Sandwich.
This little spot is now starred and saved on my maps. My husband will love it the next time we drive through the area.
