Love New Baltimore. A friend suggested Taco Tuesday-he commented they were good, mentioned deals, but said it was BOGO, which it is not.
They have some deals on Tuesday, yes. $4 off the plates, and B2GO. This was really a stretch for me, cuz I don't "do" gluten. I thought I'd I went with the platter I could just eat the filling.
Server was a doll, but she was on her own. They weren't busy, but food delivery was slow.
I had the surf and turf as 1 choice. It had 2, maybe 3 shrimp.
I have nothing to add.
All in all, portions were small, presentation was meh, food was less than meh.
It was odd that they didn't have chips and salsa while they mage folks wait, and to fill them up.
For some reason or another this restaurant has sushi AND Southwestern cuisine?
I've never seen that combination before and thought it odd. Neither fit the decor.
But, I had a friend that I wanted to meet for lunch and we decided to check it out.
Finally, it was pricey.
$30 for lunch.
We each had an adult bev, we're not drinkers, but it was that kind of day.
I had a vodka tonic, she had peach schnapps with tonic(?). It came, but she couldn't taste the peach and it was clear, no color, so she asked them to fix it. They brought it back and it was ok, but it was $10, so I guess they added a shot and charged accordingly.
No comprendo.
Anyway, I visit all restaurants with the word #Blind in it, cuz I teach Braille and am a consultant for children with blindness/low vision. I went here mainly to see if they had a hoodie or t shirt to add to my collection.
They did not.
Not my vibe.
It might work for you.
The vibe here has really improved, offering better options and support for dietary needs—definitely worth checking out now!

I have celiac disease and I made sure to call in and ask about gluten free options. They assured me that I was going to be taken care of. I ordered 2 of the same thing and they only made one that would have been gluten free. That couldn't have been because it was touching the one with space. I thought it was a non gluten sauce. Well it was not it was eel sauce packed with gluten. They cost me a new job and sent me into I reaction the shut down my breathing and had to use an eppy pen and two breathing treatments. So I could breath again. Covered in a rash and in terrible pain. They couldn't help and said they would call back
UPDATE I WAS ABLE TO GO BACK TO SEE IF THEY HAD STEPPED THINGS UP LIKE THEY SAID AND WAS IMPRESSED. THEY WERE ABLE TO MEET ALL MY DIATERY NEEDS. NO PROBLEMS
The staff is enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. Many of the menu items are naturally gluten free and the cook does not add flour to the soups or sauces. Their tomato sauce for the rice is the best I've ever had.
A charming spot for events with elegant tea sets, fresh flowers, and a relaxed vibe that's perfect for celebrations with friends.

This is the second time I’ve had lunch with friends at The Pink House Tea Room. The food (quiche, frittata, and chicken salad) was delicious. They offer several gluten free options and have the best gluten free scones in a variety of flavors. The complimentary house rum fruit salad was a nice touch, and delicious as well. Thank you for the excellent service and a great experience!
