Enjoy fresh salsa and a cozy vibe, but be ready to split up at small tables if you're in a group.

I got the shrimp tacos and they came on corn tortillas with corn tortilla chips. So it's a good gluten-free option. They also make their salsa fresh there because it came out warm. The only downside is they had a very small table for six people so we ended up having to split up between two tables.
Great vibes and generous portions make for an enjoyable experience, particularly on busy nights with quick service and reasonable prices.

We went in on a Friday night. The service was great - quick, with enough staff on the floor to keep the all you can eat orders coming! They accommodated gluten/dairy allergies and made sure to steer me toward safe options. I thought the nigiri cuts were generous. Not too much rice (good). We got in at a good time before it was too busy. Prices seemed in alignment with the area - more spendy than my sushi place back home but not too egregious.
Unfortunately the food was just not up to par. The French fries were not good at all. Burger was cooked great was just not anything special. Seemed like it was just missing something to be better. Have definitely had better burgers. We were happy to see they had options for Gluten Allergies. Beer was good as always.
Very disappointed in the quality and flavor of our pasta dishes. Service was very slow. We waited for an hour for our pasta entrees. The pasta was chewy and seemed like gluten free texture. Kids could barely touch it. Portions are very small and just very odd flavors. Hyatt you need to step it up.. $50 lamb dish for two tiny pieces of meat and again very odd pasta texture..
A charming spot with a cozy vibe, great ambiance, and delicious dishes that make it a must-try during your visit.

My first time visiting Tahoe for a wedding and we were told Sage Leaf was a must and I’m so glad we took the advice and tried it out. I ordered the avacado toast but subbed an over easy egg instead of chopped boiled egg and also opted for gluten free bread (which was super yummy compared to normal just ok options) and it was SO delicious! SERIOUSLY, so good!! My husband got the French toast with blueberry compote, Meyer lemon ricotta and toasted almonds and loved it also! Lastly we ordered the candied bacon and this is the only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. I wish I’d taken a picture but it was basically 1-1.5 inch square chunks of very thick cut bacon and you got 4 pieces for $8 which was pricey for the small portion. We found it not very candied at all and a few pieces had some very tough parts we had to spit out. My experience with candied bacon in other restaurants has been much better so I can’t say I’d recommend this here. Otherwise very cute space, ambiance and service was very good and of course everything else we ordered was great!!
