First time visit based on reviews. Our waiter, Armando, was friendly, and offered entree suggestions based on demand. However, The shrimp wrap was a lot of rice and the pork tacos were average. Cosmo and Lemonade Mocktail were excellent. Nice view of the harbor. Lots of vegan and GF options. Worth a stop, especially if you’re vegan and or gluten sensitive.
I used to really enjoy their but the quality of food has changed. I have a wheat allergy and call ahead to make sure my allergies could still be accommodated. I was told the fries are gluten free and wheat free initially. The gluten free bread used to be thick and have a great texture, but this time the bread was cold , hard, and fell apart. I couldn’t eat my sandwich because the entire thing fell apart all over me when i initially picked it up, thank goodness i still had a good grip on the ham though 🤣 when I called to have it fixed, I was treated like I was lying about what happened. I also asked about the fries again to be sure and My suspicions were correct, the woman on the phone lied about the allergens in the fries to me initially, but not the second time I called. I will not be returning and I would not recommend eating here if you have allergies or care about quality customer service.
Enjoy a fantastic outdoor vibe with incredible meals that keep everyone happy, making it a top spot in Northport Village.

Food was fantastic, I had the veal special and was one of the best meals I have ever had. The outdoor seating was such a good atmosphere. Chelsea was a great server, friendly and didn’t make us feel neglected or rushed. My girlfriend is gluten free and they were very knowledgeable.
We like Tim's. You basically know what you get -- impressed by availability of gluten free and great sausages with my breakfast!! Nice outdoor dining space, friendly people.
A fresh family-owned spot with a beautiful renovation, offering traditional Italian-American dishes and a varied bar in a lovely waterfront setting.

Newish, family-owned and good for gluten-free!
La Porta opened less than a year ago, replacing a nasty pizza takeout place. It’s been upgraded a ton, and serves traditional Italian-American fare, wood-fired pizza, and a full bar, including some Long Island microbrews.
They have gluten-free pizza crust, gluten-free penne, and a special gluten-free entree, Chicken Leonard, which I thoroughly enjoyed. No ill effects.
Service is attentive without being intrusive.
Prices are pretty good for the Northport waterfront, with a meal running $25-$35 per person, not including alcohol.
My girlfriend had the Chicken Parm and loved it! And she learned Italian cooking from her Sicilian nana!
Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.
