Solid breakfast joint for just /good/ breakfast. No frills, just done well. Food was prepared extremely fast. Their house made garlic ranch is delicious. House made gluten free bread options. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Saturday 6/24 with a reservation They tried.
I looked forward to eclectic menu by LKN and was pleased, but that was it. Everything else missed the mark.
The server asked about food allergies and I shared gluten sensitivities. He took my menu and explained that the chef would mark out problematic items. Which seemed odd, because I know what I can and can’t order and if I’m unsure I ask. So we waited….
In the meantime a host of runners tried to bring other peoples’ food to our table.
When I finally was able to order the item that I had already decided on from reviewing the website our overly chatty server went on and on how it’s his favorite. Now don’t get me wrong, I appreciate insights, but this was over the top.
So we waited…. Other folks food came to our table, but not our appetizer.
When our meal came, before our appetizer it was cold. The server apologized and quickly offered to remake our lunch. So we waited….and our appetizer arrived.
The manager offered a lengthy apology, which I appreciated and offered to comp 1/2 our tab. Again, thanks
The server also offered a lengthy apology but gave a lame excuse about being a busy Saturday only to be interrupted by a food runner who didn’t know what table to bring the order.
Of course I appreciated the Comp. But I would have preferred to pay full price to celebrate my birthday with a quiet lakeside lunch with my husband on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at a highly rated restaurant without countless interruptions and missteps.
Relaxed vibe with a great mix of singles, couples, and families, making it a perfect spot for some enjoyable sushi and friendly service.

I had a really great experience here. The food was so good, but what made it better was the service we got from Hayden. He knew the menu very well and was super accommodating for my gluten sensitivity. 10/10 I will be coming back and bringing friends.
Eaten at fresh chef before in Denver. We knew we loved the shrimp and grits. Planned to come here for Mother’s Day. Each ordered the shrimp and grits. I ordered the breakfast potatoes for brunch and he ordered a side of the mushrooms (which he had before and LOVED)
Shrimp and grits: shrimp was really overcooked, none of the bell peppers were cooked in mine but was in his. Maybe that is how they come but some consistency issues. But the flavor was really good. And very large portions
Mushrooms: the reduction was not reduced. It was a soup. But the flavor was still very good.
Breakfast potatoes: a simple dish that is a classic favorite. The most disappointing. No flavor at all. Too much oil in the potatoes and no seasoning whatsoever. Even ketchup couldn’t save them. The onions were cooked well but unless you ate the onion you couldn’t taste them with the potatoes.
Service was good. You don’t have a specific waiter which is a little confusing. We had three people ask about the same coke refill we needed but only after he sat with an empty glass for a good while. They also provided me with a gluten free menu which was awesome.
Atmosphere is great! Definitely 5 stars on that but unfortunately the food supersedes any thing else so we were left with a “meh”
Maybe we will try it again sometime and see. I will then update the review.
The owner came out to our table to work through menu options for our gluten-intolerant kid, then delivered an excellent meal! Noise level and ambiance were excellent for a nice meal with friends.
Got the nachos as an entree. The pulled pork was amazing: smoky, tender, not greasy. Our waitress was very helpful with ensuring that the nachos and queso were gluten free. My friend got the smoked chicken and it was fall off the bone tender. Place has a nice vibe, though live music was a bit loud for the indoor space. You should definitely come here, it's amazing!
We had the crab cakes today and they were awesome. I am gluten free (celiac) and they accommodated my diet. Our waitress, Allison, was great and made the whole experience exceptional.
Celebrate special occasions here with fantastic service and a memorable dining experience that keeps customers coming back for more!

Excellent! My husband and I enjoyed my birthday dinner at Choplin's. I have celiac disease which I discussed with the waitress. She, in turn, discussed with the chef who was able to confirm a meal choice which was gluten free. We had very good service and a wonderful meal! Can't wait to go back again!
Charming patio vibe makes it a great spot for relaxing, even if the wait can be a bit long at times.

We were on the hunt for any place open that would accommodate our puppy and my vegetarian gluten free diet. After driving around for much longer than we wanted to be in the dark and having a few misses, we found Zapata's.
We did have to wait a bit longer than necessary to get anyone to acknowledge our existence and seat us.
But once they did seat us on the patio, our server was fantastic and very friendly. The food was good and we both enjoyed our drinks. If we're ever back in the area, this is a place to consider.
Expect consistently delicious bites and a chill vibe from the super nice crew, making it a great spot to enjoy with friends or family.

Consistently delicious and staffed by the absolute nicest folks. I often eat here with my sister, who has a gluten allergy, and they take allergens seriously. Everything I’ve had is great but my go-to is the little bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries. The bacon is always perfectly crispy 🤤
