This place was amazing. The wonderful gal made a special batch of gluten free pancakes for my wife. Everything was delicious, we made the right choice!
This is definitely a locals hangout even though it is right next to a motel. We found it quite amusing to walk into a cafe at 6:30 am that was full of elderly white men, sporting a wall of veterans memorabilia, and playing 1970's women and black power anthems. We had eggs, potatoes and coffee, which were the best gluten free options. (The waffles looked great, but there were no gf options.) Our server was fantastic, the food was standard breakfast fare, and it was fun to get the small town Americana locals vibe.
The food was delicious! I had scallops served on risotto. Excellent! My martini was one of the best I've ever had! Tried the local Crater Lake gluten free vodka.,. awesome! And very reasonably priced.
Food was good, but I think they changed brands on their gluten free muffins because recently they've been very dry and flakey. Otherwise the food is good.
They are very friendly and have a large menu. The waiters and waitresses are good about finding out what dishes have allergens in them and which ones can be made gluten free. I've never gotten sick from eating here, the selections for people with a gluten allergy are limited but the ones they have are wonderful!
We were very hungry at 22h and everything was closed. Fortunately this pub have food until 2am!! It save us and the hamburgers were good. They have glutenfree options (they dont have bread gluten free but u can ask a substitute).
I would suggest to the owners of the pub to have a glutenfree bread for the hamburgers, definetly you will get more clients happier ;)
