Top 8 Gluten-Free Dining Spots to Experience in Johnston

Luigi's food game is on point when scouting out good restaurant recruits in the Johnston area. It takes up enough of a strip mall to give it some gravitas, but doesn't have the feel of comparable food places. You got a take-out deli with standup tables, and a restaurant that you'd be 'gagootz' to miss. (That's slang for 'crazy in the head.') Their Amalfi Coast menu in the restaurant section has indicators of what is gluten-free and has nutritional stats on the food. They have a surf-and-turf that beats a lot of the downtown Providence prices. Their plates will have you bringing a doggie bag home, unless you have two stomachs. Overall, Luigi's is a wonderful experience. Check this out if your traveling down the I-295 or Route 6 corridor.

This was my first time here. The food was great with very reasonable portions for the price. Staff was friendly and on point. Some gluten free options. I will be coming back!

Our family has a lot of allergies (gluten, sesame, peanut, tree nut, egg) and this is one of the few restaurants we trust. They take such good care to make sure our food is safe and delicious. If you are like us and feel limited where you can go, go here. I’m sure they’ll take good care of you too!

I love this place, they have gluten free options. I would get their beef fried rice, miso soup, nime chow, and creme brulee. Delicious! I hope they reopen soon after their unfortunate fire.

Have always had a great experience with all of the Torre restaurants. The waitstaff are always going above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is top notch. They are one step ahead tending to the customers needs before you would even have to ask. You never see the workers just standing around and they are all working together on each-others tables. The food is fresh and very well prepared. The dishes do not only look nice, but the flavor is impeccable. There are so many options from mock tails, to all different kinds of bar drinks (I recommend the limoncello spritz, their limoncello is homemade!!!!), there are vegetarian, gluten free, and whole wheat options. Our waiter made sure we all knew that everything is made fresh from scratch so any allergy or preference modifications are available. If you want a nice, classy, stress free dinner, DINE AT TRATTORIA ROMANA!! I can’t stress enough how the steps of service are taken very serious.

Love their burgers. Miss having them on a roll, but I've gone gluten free. They do have gluten free options, just not including buns.
